It was a really nice hostel. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Location was very good, close to a tram station and at walking distance from the old part of Istanbul. Also the roof terrace was quite nice. Bathrooms were very clean as well, but of the four toilets we had, there was one toilet that didn't flush, and one without light in it. For the rest it was really nice, would stay there again.
Very good hostel and nice staff. It was raining when we had to leave, but we could just stay inside the hostel as long as we wanted and throw the key in the mailbox. We would definately stay there again.
There were lockers but they didn't have a lock on them. We had to buy a lock from the guy at the reception. They could have just put the lock on the locker, and rent us the key just like what happens in other hostels. Other than that it was a decent hostel with a very good location.
The hostel's location was decent. The staff was very friendly, however it seemed to be a bit unorganized. Because they had too many guests and no rooms so they had to switch guests. The hostel wasn't very clean as well, and the breakfast wasn't very good. However the terrace outside was really nice, and we did enjoy our stay here.
The location was good, it was next to the trainstation. The shower was a little bit far from our room, and one day we had cold water. The staff however was really nice, it was a just good hostel.
We had a private room with our own bathroom which was nice. The room wasn't very clean though. Also the location was pretty bad. It was quite a long walk to the city center. Staff was friendly.
It was a long walk from the central station to the hostel (about 30 mins). Other than that a good hostel, although the 2 person room was quite small. Also the matres wasn't very nice. Nothing else to complain.
Good hostel, Tom was very friendly and explained everything right away. Could have been more showers, but it wasn't too bad. He also had a nice dog :)
When we arrived there was nobody who could speak any English. A woman (a cleaner) gave us a phone with some guy on the line who did speak English, and who told us that we could leave our bags there. When we came back later that day there was still nobody who spoke english to explain where everything in the hostel was found. Other than that the staff was friendly and did their best to help us. One downside was that there weren't enough power plugs in the room for everybody.
Very nice hostel. Staff was extremely friendly and explained all the things to see in the city right when we arrived. Big lockers underneath the beds to put your bags in. Breakfast was good, but not much drinks to choose from. Also only 2 showers for about 20 people, so it's a little bit crowded in the morning. Would definetely go back to this hostel again.
Good hostel, big room, friendly staff, very good location. Shower could use some improvement, other than that a great hostel to stay in.
