Posh South Beach

Miami, USA

It is difficult to rate Posh as we were actually transferred to the Chesterfield Hotel given a problem at Posh Hostel. We did however have breakfast at Posh Hostel and we interacted with staff at Posh Hostel during our stay. The staff were quite helpful, especiallly given that we had a few problems with Chesterfield Hotel and their staff. Breakfast was quite small and a little disappointing compared to breakfasts that I have enjoyed at other hostels around the world.

DanyHouse

Florence, Italy

Clifford, Celeste and especially Jonathan, are the friendliest staff who really make Dany House feel like a home. Jonathan begins every stay with a helpful introduction to Florence and the hostel. The free wine and delicious cake and chips make for a social atmosphere whilst also providing great value for travellers. The wine is flowing every night and it really brings all travelers together. The main problem for us was the noisy traffic, which can be heard through the windows at night.

Grampa's Hostel

Wroclaw, Poland

Grampas Hostel is a well maintained, small hostel with clean facilities and included breakfast. The breakfast was the most limited that I've tried, but included breakfasts are always appreciated even when they are basic. Sharing a shower with everyone at the hostel wasn't a problem for us as there weren't many people staying, but I imagine that it would be less pleasant in a peak time. Although we didn't have any items stolen, the inability to lock our room made us feel concerned.

The Cat's Pajamas Hostel

Berlin, Germany

If you're looking for a hostel that feels more like a hotel, then you will thoroughly enjoy the brand new facilities and hotel atmosphere of Cats Pajamas Hostel. The rooms can't be faulted for being immaculately clean with the nicest shower that we've encountered during travel. The breakfast was delicious and given the low price of the hostel, I was surprised just how generous it was! The location isn't close to attractions, but is well connected to the city by subway.

We loved our time at Bahaus Hostel. Toogee, Bahre and Wes made our stay impossibly fun and we thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop terrace. We can't wait to come back to Istanbul just so that we can stay at Bahaus again!
