Good hotel that is very close to transport connections. Room was just big enough. Shower was quite small though.

Hotel was pretty awesome. Room was massive and the bed was great. Big tv, sofa and a big bathroom. Thumbs up. WiFi only in lobby but free LAN cable if you have a laptop. Enquired about printing facilities prior to arrival and I was told they were available but when I asked about using them they said they were not.

Small, compact size that was perfect as a base to go from. Local area was quiet and free of tourists. Staff were nice and friendly.

It's a basic hostel for visiting Miyajima. Not much in the local area but you're not there for that. Needs some more plug sockets in the dorms and the air con seems a bit overworked. It's ok for a short stay though.

J-Hoppers are the best hostels I've visited in Japan. The staff are excellent when you check in and give you city maps, transport maps and local area maps. All simple stuff but it makes a difference. The beds are fantastic. You get so much space, free lockers, personal electrical sockets, lamp and a full curtain. Super comfy. Couldn't ask for anything more. The stairs can be a bit knackering with luggage and the other room mates don't always lock the room but that's not the hostels fault.

Thank you very very much for your uplifting comments! We also appreciate your rating which made us all feel encouraged. We always feel sorry about the stairs and wish to have an lift in this hostel for customers. That said thank you for your understanding. Hope to see you again!

Long term residents would get up and move about at random hours. Bed was really creaky and wobbly.
