I stayed here for a couple of nights with my brother, went on to Chania, then we returned after a few days because it was so lovely. We had a huge spacious apartment with a fridge, cooking facilities, an ensuite bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the pool. Amazing value for money, and the manager Fragiskous (sorry if I've misspelt!) was so friendly and helpful. A little bit out of the city but you can catch a bus for very cheap, and it's got shops and the beach within a couple of minutes walk.
Nice clean hostel, the biggest I've ever stayed in. I love the curtains on the beds that give a bit of privacy, and the lights and power points above the beds so you don't have to fight over charging your phone! Good secure lockers under beds, clean and tidy bathrooms, comfy beds. The one downside was not having a kitchen to cook cheaply in- I think they want you to buy their food which is fine for a night or two but a long term stay maybe not! Noisy but comfortable.
Really lovely hostel, I stayed here last year but still remember it. Lovely spacious rooms, excellent walking tours, friendly staff and a nice chill-out area. The pub crawl is awesome, even if you're travelling solo. In fact, it's better when you're solo because you meet lots of people! Heading back to dublin this year and will stay again.
I liked the curtains around the bunk beds! Pretty clean and tidy, the kind of breakfast you would expect in a hostel and pretty friendly staff. Would stay again.
Worst reception I have had in a hostel - they were either very understaffed or just didn't know what they were doing. Stood there for half an hour before anyone would even acknowledge me and when others turned up it took them several hours to get their room keys. Was a lot of confusion about men's and women's dorms and the staff didn't seem to know what was going on- we sorted it out amongst ourselves. But comfy clean linen on beds and awesome people there so was fine for a one night stay!
