My boyfriend and I were both very impressed with the beach and city centre hostel. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and we got to stay in a private apartment which consisted of a private ensuite, kitchen, double bed and a plasma screen tv. Furthermore the location was fantastic with only a 10 minute walk to the beach, and a 2 minute walk to the bus station.

Buzz Hostel - Split Beach

We only stayed at this hostel because we found it to be the cheapest in Split. The location wasn't great and we had to keep spending money on getting the bus, and the rooms had no air con so we had to sleep with the balcony door open. The staff were friendly enough but all they did was check us in and they gave no information whatsoever regarding things to do in Split. Furthermore although the hostel claimed to have free wifi, it didn't work and this caused a lot of problems for us.

The highlight of our time at HBC hostel was definitely meeting the lovely owner who was called Antun. He immediately made us feel welcome and was really helpful in showing us the best places to visit in Budapest. We also found that the atmosphere at the hostel was brilliant and we actually ended up staying an extra night!

GlobArt Hostel

Although the atmosphere wasn't great at this hostel, the staff were incredibly helpful and through them we were able to book trips to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines at a discounted price. As well as this the location was great with the majority of things in walking distance.
