Hostel One Prague

The staff were very friendly and eager to help, and the free dinner was a great way to meet people. The walk to Old Town and Lesser Town is pretty long, but was preferable to the stuffed/stuffy public transportation. Hans recommended a nice restaurant down the street from the hostel, Lavicka, which had cheap gourmet food. Overall it felt like a college house that was far from the action, but made up for it by creating its own.

Marken Gjestehus

This was my favorite hostel during our trip to Scandinavia and Prague. It feels like a home and was a relaxed way to meet people. It was a short walk from the train station and in a fun area for window shopping. The only thing that could make it better is breakfast, which is expensive in Bergen like everything else.
