This hostel was easy to get to from the airport, just hop on the bus number 2 and its about an hour ride. The hostel is 2 minutes from the bus stop and beach and 15 minutes to the Sliema ferries and all shops so makes it a very accessible and convenient location. The downside is that you will need to pay for air conditioning and if you are on a budget like most travelers it doesn't seem fair for the price. They should at least have fans in the room to circulate the air as the nights can get hot!
Marco is a great host and makes you feel comfortable like you're at home. This hostel has everything you need. It is a 5 minute walk from the main train station and bus terminal for great day trips out of the city, and another 5 minutes to the main piazza in the city centre - so the location is great. Make sure you check out the granita in catania because it is amazing! Have already recommended this hostel to others.
Great location from the station and nice easy walk to the main promenade of shops, bars and restaurants and views of the water. The room was very comfortable and clean and nicely decorated. This is a great place to stay in Reggio Calabria and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
I loved this place in the old town of Cosenza. It has lots of charm and character. I stayed in the dorm which was great because there are no other places here that offer dorm style accommodation. Great value for money with breakfast included. The owners are very helpful as I was a little lost and arrived late at night. Definitely stay here.
The owner of the hostel is a great guy and does everything he can to make you feel comfortable in your stay and welcome you like its your home. He has just opened which is great because I don't know where else I would have stayed in Vlore -so thank you and I would definitely recommend this place. It's an easy walk to the main street and about 20 minutes to the port, but when you arrive its a good idea to pin it on google maps so you know how to get there. The breakfast is also yummy and generous
I must admit I was nervous about coming into Albania but it was amazing!! Loved this place! It is beautifully designed and decorated and makes a very comfortable stay in Tirana. Its an easy 7 minutes walk to the main city centre and the location of the hostel is in a lovely part of town with great restaurants. The staff and people in general are very nice and helpful. I did the free walking tour in the city too and it was a great insight into this pleasantly surprising city.
This hostel felt ordinary but wasn't bad. It was good advise on the reviews to go into the pizza shop when checking in (the pizza is delicious by the way!). The hostel is right near the water and in the old town center of Ohrid. It's about a 20 minute walk from the bus station. So the location is good. I would recommend this place and come back again.
Great location from the main station (only a 12 minute walk with your backpack), and right in the center of town so great access to supermarkets and restaurants. Staff are friendly and offer great hospitality. I was in a 3 bed female dorm and it was refreshing not having to sleep on a bunk bed! Would highly recommend.
Perfect location from the bus station ..its an easy few minutes walk. The owners are super nice and will go out of their way to help you. Free breakfast was also nice. I would definitely recommend this hostel!
Its not in the old town, but near the beach (with lovely views) but kotor is a small town anyway and the hostel is 5 minutes to the old town and a 10 min walk from the bus station. Owners are very friendly, they have many social activities and cheap kayak rentals. The place is a little dirty and bunk beds a little uncomfortable, but still ok.
Absolutely loved this place. Very comfortable dorms and common room with nice staff. Great location as well with only 5 min from the bus station and in the old town. I loved kotor and this place is definitely great to stay! the only thing is that the shower always flooded and created a lot of mess but other then that I would definitely recommend it! I loved the power sockets in the lockers too! great security and your guaranteed a power point to charge your things!
It's a little far to walk from the bus station, so i needed to catch a taxi with my backpack, but that's because the city center isn't all that close to the bus stop. The hostel is in the old town. The dorms were comfortable, but they turn off ALL the water at midnight so you cant fill your bottles/brush teeth/showers!? other then that, its an ok place to stay. free breakfast was nice.
This place is AMAZING!! great staff that take you out on day tours and show you a fantastic time. great food - breakfast and welcome drinks - its like you're their extended family. Mostar is definitely a great place to explore Bosnia and this hostel was one of the best I've stayed in. Also super easy walk from the bus station (less then 5 min) and easy walk (less then 10 min) to the old town.
Great location from the bus station (easy walk with a backpack) and within a couple of minutes you're in the old town! The hostel is great value for money, nice people and the owner is helplful and super friendly. The only thing is that the place could be cleaned more often, but other then that I would highly recommend this place to stay!
This basic hostel is a great place to stop over while waiting for the ferry. Perfect location and minutes away from the train station and buses to the port. Dont expect too much from Ancona the city...if you have time to kill, go to portonouvo beach which is 40 min away on the bus and its stunning!!! The owners speak italian and not much english, so just be prepared but they are friendly :)
Great location from the main station - only a few minutes walk away. Free breakfast was basic but nice. Beds a little uncomfortable and the place is a little old, but its Rome - good value for money and I would stay here again.
Easy walk from the main bus station and easy access to the airport (only 3 stops away and its 5 min walk from the hostel). Comfy beds, new bathrooms and hot water, nice staff and free welcome drinks...this place has everything you need!
I choose this hostel because it was walking distance to the port so I can go to Spain. The rooms are very comfy and nice showers and bathroom. The interiors of this place is amazing, the owner is obviously very creative. The free breakfast was simple but very nice. The painted hostal signs in the walls on of the medina help sooo much in finding the place! The only thing is that wifi didnt work and the lady was a bit rude about it when asked if it was working.
This place was like a family home. Osama and his dad are the most kindest people and will welcome you with open arms. The house is nicely situated in the medina. I walked from the bus station but be warned when its hot it can be a tough walk with your backpack because its quite hilly... probably best to get a taxi. The place is super quiet and more for those who want to chill out. I had the single room and it was definitively value for money and awesome to be in a Moroccan house.
This is place is actually a house in a suburban street (good to know when you are trying to find it and wondering if you are in the right place!). I stayed here to chill out as a stop over so it was ok, but the location isnt good if you wanted to see casablanca. They also have a curfew. The house itself was nice and really new.. lots of living space, a pool, pet turtles, a gym etc. The dorm room could be improved ALOT as the bunkbeds feel very unsafe and flimsy. I ended up sleeping on the coach!
This place is more of a guest house then a hostel and is absolutely lovely. Great location from the ALSA bus station - an easy 5 minute walk away. And in less then 10 minutes you have beautiful small beaches to choose from, very close to restaurants and supermarket. I stayed in Nerja for a week and I would definitely stay here again.
Great location (easy walk 25 min from the train station) and also in the old town of granada. The staff are super friendly and will book your tickets to the castle. The free walking tour was also fab so make sure you go!! and paella night was also delish. Everyone I meet that has traveled to granda has stayed here...so you should too!!
Great place - I would stay here again.
good place - would recommend!!
I caught the megabus from london and the bus stop is an easy walk to those hostel. The hostel is also 3 mintues from the castle and on the main pedestrian street and shops so location was very, very good!!
The hostel has a great vibe...live music at night and seems to be a place where the locals hang out. Staff are friendly at booking activities for you too. The interiors of the place are very nice too as well as great access to a kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

This is the WORST hostel!! DON'T STAY HERE!!!! The owner is extremely rude and does not want to help. I was robbed and he showed no support when I simply needed to print my passport at reception and I would have gladly paid for. The water in the shower was also cold and I suggested to put a sign on the shower indicating the thermostat was broken, and apparently that insulted him!! He told me to "respect my elders in Belgium" and that they "are not a hotel service, we just provide beds".
Great place- I would stay here again.
I loved this place. Easy walk from the train station (about 10 min away). It was in an old building, minutes from the old town, but nicely renovated and very cosey and cute. I would definitely want to stay here again.
Amazing hostel, with very high standards. 5 star service, very helpful staff, great location in Brussels
This is my second time in Bratislava and decided to give this hostel a go. Great location to the old town, the hostel itself has a great vibe, helpful staff and I'll definitely be back.
The hostel is at the end of a quiet street and a little bit out of the way, but it is an easy walk to the city center. Over all this hostel was good and I would stay here again.
great location. would recomened this place.
This stay was ok, but lots of older people and families and lacks vibe. Good for budget travellers though. Location ok but could be better.

Great location to the city centre, we arrived by car and left it in the carp park so their instructions were very helpful. Great value for money, very friendly people would definitely stay here again when I come back! Make sure you stay here!!
We got lost with the car as our gps was not working, but the staff found us in Noto and saved us!! We are very grateful for their help. So make sure you are prepared with at least a map! Free Breakfast was great, rooms and facilities were ok. Wish I stayed more then one night though because this town is lovely and the location was very central to all the city action :)
Great value for money. Great location to the main part of town. Would stay here again
Stayed here twice. Amazing place!!! Come here :)
Easy walk from the station and good location near the beach. The rooms are ordinary, very narrow with triple bunks, the shower is not special either. Does the job if u need a place to crash, and easy to catch the national express if u need to get to Gatwick early in the morning like I did!
nice common rooms, very friendly staff (debai was super helpful!), very very close to the train station, ok showers. would recommend this place if you wanna stay in Bath. walking distance to the roman baths and they also offer tours to stonehenge you can book at reception.
easy walk from the station, this hostel is a little strange when you walk in at first, but once you get to know everyone they are super nice. the security guard does a good job at making sure there are no dodgy people there. make sure you have your own sleeping bag and pillow coz they rent them for extra. i think its value for money for the price you pay. breakfast is super basic and there is not really cooking facilities.
this hostel is so so. i stayed in the big dorm and it was a bit like living in the basement! they dont let any natural light in and the air in the room is stale, and the room is lit up by a few red lights. after the second day they finally opened up a window to let some fresh air in. they need to invest in POWER POINTS! no where to charge in the 'basement'. wifi doesnt make it to the 'basement' either and it was also shocking to use in reception where i also went to sit and charge my stuff.
good hotel. ticked all the boxes. would go back again,
nice hostel. good location from the main part of town. would recommend.
good location with a less then 10 minutes walk into the old town. friendly staff and good security with a welcome drink on arrival. a bar downstairs, but not much of a vibe, maybe i just went on a quiet evening, but drinks are cheap! would recommend this hostel! and i recommend you do the free walking they offer on the brochures in reception - a great way to meet new people!
happy with my stay here. about a 10-15 min walk from the station and a nice 20 min walk to the city. friendly staff, good internet, and drinks voucher on arrival. i think the wombat hostels are always great and would recommend.! :)
this is a small family owned hostel with friendly staff. its quiet and a good place to relax in your room. a nice 20 minute walk to the city center. would recommend.
breakfast is free and delicious!!! belushi's (famous bar) is next to the hostel and is good atmosphere and wifi connection is great. would highly recommend.
we stayed here to go to the ski resort. it was in a good location, near public transport and shops. room had facilities for cooking if you wanted to cook yourself.
this hotel was a little out of the way from the main station, but ended up being a nice 30 min walk or an easy tram ride . The hostel staff were really friendly, and there wasn't much atmosphere at night, but there is a common room with a bar so It was easy to meet people at night. Beds were comfy and the place was nice and clean. would recommend this hostel.
Good hostel. close to the station. nice interiors. would recommend!
this place was terrible. firstly I booked a 4 dorm, but put in a 6 dorm. they did not have any maps to offer, wifi only worked downstairs in the bar and not in the rooms, and the staff were very, very rude. after travelling for 4 months in 18 hostels across Europe, this would have to be the worst. there is also not much to do in Malaga, I wouldn't recommend to even stay in the city for long.
Good location from the station. place was a little dirty and wifi didn't work in all the rooms.
the staff here are really nice and they take the time to give you a thorough rundown of the city and where you should go. they also hosted a free sangria night one evening which was a nice way to bring everyone together. the hostel is about a 10 minute walk from the bus station and a short walk to the beach and old town. the only downside was the mattress was very old and springs were digging into my back.
Loved this place! great location to explore this charming town. The place is small and quiet, very clean and beautiful interiors. loved the breakfast too and the staff were always happy tp help. would definitely be coming back!!
Very clean hostel and nicely styled modern interiors. i was staying on level 6 and had an elevator!! Also the breakfast is amazing and the best you will get from any other hostel. the location was great to all the action and only couple of stops from the main train station.
the hostel atmosphere was average, nothing amazing. nice staff. the only real thing going for it was location and as I was catching the train the next morning, this was perfect walking distance.
nice, clean, stylish hostel. good location. free breaskfast always a plus. but they could help by stating the directions on the website though, coz I caught a cab from the main train station, but its only 2 stops away on the metro and only cost 1.50 euro!.
easy ride to get there with the bus from the airport. good atmosphere. free breakfast is nice. great location.
if you intend to wash your hair in the 9 person dorm, it might be difficult as the showers have a 5 second timer with a button! the room and shower always dirty. the common room is dark and gloomy and the free breakfast is verrry basic (ive had better in other hostels). the only good thing is the location and i guess thats the price you pay for London!! be careful with leaving your stuff in your room...things do go missing..even if you use their lockers! I hear the 6 person dorm is better
easy walk from the main train station. my only suggestion is they provide a proper kitchen area so guests can clean up after themselves when we use the microwave and dinning table, because it was so dirty and sticky, but there was no way people could clean up their own mess. and soap in the bathroom would make a more pleasant stay. also paying for luggage storage after check out is a bit a of joke. but overall a good place to stay.
good place to stay. basic breakfast, but still nice. close to the train staion free beach, supermarket, clubs and restaurants. . very friendly staff. I like how they have cheap call rates (not all hostels offer this facility) which was good for calling Australia! but lesson learned, be careful with your bags in rimin! I got mine stolen on the beach.
this place is stylish, clean and has very friendly staff. I like this place coz it doenst fit many people like your usual big hostels, so the showers always free!! haha but you can chill during the day and they know how to party at night too if thats what you like! would highly recommend. this place has everything you need. loved my stay.
loved it here! wish I stayed longer. very quick walk from the main bus station (I came from the airport) and a nice 30min walk to the old town along the water. family owned block, and the dorms are the apartments, so you get your own bathroom and kitchen to share with about 6 people. and if you are sailing, its like 10 min walk from the boats.
nice place if you want to chill and relax. family owned and very friendly. they will pick you up from the bus station, but its an easy walk from the port. good location and breakfast was a typical turkish breakfast, simple but delicious! they also have a pool which was nice to cool down in the hot weather as the beach was a little far to walk too if you wanted a quick dip!
I reckon Francesco is the King of Ios. I was staying solo in another hostel and decided to move here to meet some cool people. Pretty much everyone is Aussie and they all know how to party and have a good time. Every night there are welcome shots (for everyone!) and then we all hit the clubs which is in short walking distance. There is a great vibe in the hostel, a bit of a walk from the beach, but you can catch the bus easily. Francesco and the staff are amazing.
good location in the middle between the beach and the main part of town. about a 10 min walk on either side. I arrived by ferry and the owner was waiting for me at the port! but I didn't realize so ended up catching a bus. the directions on the website is wrong, apparently they've been trying to get it fixed. but good to confirm they will pick you up, would have saved me the trip. nice place, and friendly staff.
