nice common rooms, very friendly staff (debai was super helpful!), very very close to the train station, ok showers. would recommend this place if you wanna stay in Bath. walking distance to the roman baths and they also offer tours to stonehenge you can book at reception.

easy walk from the station, this hostel is a little strange when you walk in at first, but once you get to know everyone they are super nice. the security guard does a good job at making sure there are no dodgy people there. make sure you have your own sleeping bag and pillow coz they rent them for extra. i think its value for money for the price you pay. breakfast is super basic and there is not really cooking facilities.

this hostel is so so. i stayed in the big dorm and it was a bit like living in the basement! they dont let any natural light in and the air in the room is stale, and the room is lit up by a few red lights. after the second day they finally opened up a window to let some fresh air in. they need to invest in POWER POINTS! no where to charge in the 'basement'. wifi doesnt make it to the 'basement' either and it was also shocking to use in reception where i also went to sit and charge my stuff.

good location with a less then 10 minutes walk into the old town. friendly staff and good security with a welcome drink on arrival. a bar downstairs, but not much of a vibe, maybe i just went on a quiet evening, but drinks are cheap! would recommend this hostel! and i recommend you do the free walking they offer on the brochures in reception - a great way to meet new people!

this hotel was a little out of the way from the main station, but ended up being a nice 30 min walk or an easy tram ride . The hostel staff were really friendly, and there wasn't much atmosphere at night, but there is a common room with a bar so It was easy to meet people at night. Beds were comfy and the place was nice and clean. would recommend this hostel.

this place was terrible. firstly I booked a 4 dorm, but put in a 6 dorm. they did not have any maps to offer, wifi only worked downstairs in the bar and not in the rooms, and the staff were very, very rude. after travelling for 4 months in 18 hostels across Europe, this would have to be the worst. there is also not much to do in Malaga, I wouldn't recommend to even stay in the city for long.

the staff here are really nice and they take the time to give you a thorough rundown of the city and where you should go. they also hosted a free sangria night one evening which was a nice way to bring everyone together. the hostel is about a 10 minute walk from the bus station and a short walk to the beach and old town. the only downside was the mattress was very old and springs were digging into my back.

Very clean hostel and nicely styled modern interiors. i was staying on level 6 and had an elevator!! Also the breakfast is amazing and the best you will get from any other hostel. the location was great to all the action and only couple of stops from the main train station.

nice, clean, stylish hostel. good location. free breaskfast always a plus. but they could help by stating the directions on the website though, coz I caught a cab from the main train station, but its only 2 stops away on the metro and only cost 1.50 euro!.

if you intend to wash your hair in the 9 person dorm, it might be difficult as the showers have a 5 second timer with a button! the room and shower always dirty. the common room is dark and gloomy and the free breakfast is verrry basic (ive had better in other hostels). the only good thing is the location and i guess thats the price you pay for London!! be careful with leaving your stuff in your room...things do go missing..even if you use their lockers! I hear the 6 person dorm is better

New Hostel Florence

easy walk from the main train station. my only suggestion is they provide a proper kitchen area so guests can clean up after themselves when we use the microwave and dinning table, because it was so dirty and sticky, but there was no way people could clean up their own mess. and soap in the bathroom would make a more pleasant stay. also paying for luggage storage after check out is a bit a of joke. but overall a good place to stay.

good place to stay. basic breakfast, but still nice. close to the train staion free beach, supermarket, clubs and restaurants. . very friendly staff. I like how they have cheap call rates (not all hostels offer this facility) which was good for calling Australia! but lesson learned, be careful with your bags in rimin! I got mine stolen on the beach.

loved it here! wish I stayed longer. very quick walk from the main bus station (I came from the airport) and a nice 30min walk to the old town along the water. family owned block, and the dorms are the apartments, so you get your own bathroom and kitchen to share with about 6 people. and if you are sailing, its like 10 min walk from the boats.

nice place if you want to chill and relax. family owned and very friendly. they will pick you up from the bus station, but its an easy walk from the port. good location and breakfast was a typical turkish breakfast, simple but delicious! they also have a pool which was nice to cool down in the hot weather as the beach was a little far to walk too if you wanted a quick dip!

Francesco's

Ios, Greece

I reckon Francesco is the King of Ios. I was staying solo in another hostel and decided to move here to meet some cool people. Pretty much everyone is Aussie and they all know how to party and have a good time. Every night there are welcome shots (for everyone!) and then we all hit the clubs which is in short walking distance. There is a great vibe in the hostel, a bit of a walk from the beach, but you can catch the bus easily. Francesco and the staff are amazing.

good location in the middle between the beach and the main part of town. about a 10 min walk on either side. I arrived by ferry and the owner was waiting for me at the port! but I didn't realize so ended up catching a bus. the directions on the website is wrong, apparently they've been trying to get it fixed. but good to confirm they will pick you up, would have saved me the trip. nice place, and friendly staff.
