Good facilities at the hostel, however certain staff member was a bit rude and enforced rules were strange (no beer, juice or drinks are allowed in fridges). It would have been nice to been told they charge your stay on your credit card 48 hours prior to check in.
Loved everything about the hostel. Great atmosphere at the hostel and interaction between guests and staff who were amazing. It was so easy to meet people at this hostel. The hostel itself was spotless, and had a great common room set up. Every day there were different activities, including pub crawls, games night and movie nights. It felt more like a house than a hostel and I wish I didn't have to leave it was that amazing.
Pretty nice hostel with nice rooms and good facilities however the hostel did lack a good atmosphere at times. It was in a good location so close to the metro and a 24 hour supermarket which was amazing. Free barbecues were great, make sure to line up early for them!
Although not technically in Boston this hostel was great. Staff was great and ran shuttle busses to the metro (or you could catch a bus). They even dropped a group of us off at the bus station when I had to leave. The hostel had great atmosphere, I met the most amazing people there. The only down side a out this hostel is the mattresses which are a bit weird (they're plastic) but other than that its a great hostel.
Would be a great place to stay if you are in a group, however for the single traveller it's hard to meet people here. The bed configuration was confusing as the 6 bed dorm only had 4 beds (two were double beds) which was weird as they sold it as 2 sleeping spaces (I wouldn't want to be stuck in a double with a stranger I just met).
Everything about this hostel is amazing, except for the fact that most people are residents here and are not interested in socialising with backpackers. As a single traveller I didn't meet anyone here, and the atmosphere was poor. But if you can put up with that, everything else is amazing. Location is excellent, value for money is outstanding (free dinners!!!), and facilities as excellent.
Tracy was absolutely amazing, so helpful and friendly and amazing. The hostel was quite nice, not too far from the Main Street, very close to the bus and train stations which is an advantage. Great value for money, especially considering how good the facilities are. Would have no hesitation in recommending this place, I would definitely stay here again.
Staff at this hostel were amazing, especially Donna who was so great at helping organise my stay while in Galway. Location is less than 5 mins away from the centre and is located nearby to a 24 hour supermarket. Kitchen was very nice however the guest fridge wasn't cold at all so food storage may be an issue. Overall a good hostel, would definitely stay there again.
Good hostel in an amazing location. Staff are friendly and help with any queries you have. My room was overlooking the street however I didn't have a problem with noise levels. It was a bit inconvient that wifi only worked in the kitchen which was closed between 10am and 11am.
No problems with the hostel. It was chosen based on the location near enough to the train station for say trips to bruge and Ghent, yet only a 5 min walk out of the city centre. I would stay there again.
Great location, amazing staff and once they finish the renovations on the side room this hostel will be amazing! It feels like a really cool share house and the atmosphere is good for solo travellers.
Overall a solid hostel. The size does attract larger groups and makes it a bit harder for the solo traveller, but the bar does help people mingle.
Honestly this is the best hostel I've ever stayed at. Originally booked 4 nights and extended to 6 and then 10 nights. The staff are absolutely fantastic and go out of their way to help you with anything. Free morning crepes were amazing, and the barbecues set up every few days were delicious The atmosphere at the hostel was great, during the evenings everyone would socialise outside over food/cocktails before going out together. I honestly cried when I left because I didn't want to leave.
