Nice and friendly hostel which is located very nicely. Rooms can get a bit hot at night without the window open however with the window open you are at the mercy of the noisy drunken people leaving the clubs early in the morning. Kitchen is excellent, wifi excellent and free computers are a great bonus.
The hostel seems to be a long distance from much of the little night life in Zagreb, and both the train and bus station. plus, the wifi was a bit dodgy at times and couldn't connect from our room. Everything else was spot on though.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Very friendly and felt at home, ended up staying an extra night. Only downsides were the kitchen facilities only consisted of 2 hobs and a fridge, plus the hostel was a disappointing 40 minute walk into the old town. Despite the few downsides I couldn't recommend this hostel enough.
The biggest problem with Jufa was that its a hotel and hostel combined. The hostel rooms are hidden away in the depths of the basement and from time to time you witness ghostly, disturbed men walking the corridors. There is no kitchen, the rooms stink and you are unable to consume any of your own products in the common areas. On a slightly more positive note, the location is decent.
Enjoyed our stay here, the bar downstairs is really cool. Kitchen facilities were excellent and beds comfortable! Only downside was that you had to pay per hour for the lockers downstairs, but felt safe leaving stuff in the room anyway. Also the free breakfast was a great addition!
Was a cheap choice to spend a Saturday night in Venice, did the job.
