Link Corner Hostel

Bangkok, Thailand

Hostel is next to the airport link, quite handy when arriving from or leaving to the airport. It's a bit noisy, but not too much. Bigger shopping locations are quite close as well. Dorms feature big lockers where you can fit in quite a bit. Staff was friendly most of time, or at least professional. There is a black board with little post-its on Thai you can take and show your taxi driver to get to some popular locations. Atmosphere seemed ok, but nothing special. Would consider staying again.

HI Siem Reap

This place is run by a bunch of young Khmer who are very friendly and really made me feel welcome. My private room was top notch, very comfy and clean. The hostel is located close to the night market and city center where you can buy loads of stuff or enjoy good food. The common area has a pool and a billiard table, beer is cheap and you will easily meet lots of people. The hostel will also organize trips to Angkor Wat, tickets to Phnom Penh, or Bangkok. Would stay there again for sure!

Hostel Nomads

Phnom Penh, Cambodia

This place is run by an English guy, Robert, and his Khmer wife, both super friendly and having high energy to help you with all your questions. The common area offers a couple of comfy benches and is good to meet other travellers for a chat or getting company for a day trip. Toilet facilities are pretty basic and there is apparently only two of them, it is likely you have to wait. If you have a weak stomach, better stay at a place where toilets are more accessible

Rumblefish Adventure

This small hostel is a scuba diving place, but open to other travellers as well. Staff was very friendly, helpful and ready to enjoy a chat and some small talk. My room was comfy and quiet. Outside the hostel are a few benches where you can have a beer and meet other travellers. The hostel offers free coffee, beer for a decent price and cheap drinking water refill. There are lot of rules in this place, but all are common sense. The atmosphere was very chilled, I would stay there again.

Cozy Bangkok Place

Bangkok, Thailand

This place is close to the main station, which is useful to either explore the city by puclic transportation or if you are headed to another destination. There is not much other stuff to see around, though. The place itself was very clean, and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and eager to help when having questions, providing maps and other information. Atmosphere was ok, but not really good to meet other travellers. Stay here if you are looking for a friendly, quiet, high quality place.
