Really comfortable beds! Clean kitchen, free parking, good location
Good stay, clean beds. Lots of long stay people makes it like a college dorm atmosphere, if that's what you are looking for. Parking is expensive but expected in city centre location. Wifi crazy expensive
Good location, our 4 bed room had no external window and so became quite stuffy.
It was our first stay in a hostel in New Zealand so paying for wifi and not getting a free breakfast was a big shock to he system
Quiet time of year but clean, decent hostel. Lockers in the room could be a lot more secure than they were. Really comfy beds
Brown toast for breakfast...yummy! Staff very helpful, allowed us to leave our bags after checkout for a few hours. Walking distance to Human Rights Museum and metro station very close too.
Pancakes for breakfast and free wine from 7 to 8pm a great touch. Staff very very helpful, nice space in kitchen for cooking. Drawbacks included the overpowering smell of gas from the heaters downstairs, also the fact that there were no showers on the first floor near our room, had to go downstairs. All in all a very decent hostel
Very comfortable stay here, showers were amazing. Cornflakes were a nice touch a breakfast for those who can't take anymore bread and jam! Very central location, nice restaurant on the left as you walk into the hostel
Great place if you feel like partying but also a cool DVD room. Lockers in the room could have been a bit sturdier but lovely hot showers and food was great
Very nice of the staff to let us up to our room at 8.30am as we were very tired from an overnight bus from Cusco. We slept in their common area before that.
We used Kokopelli as our base for many trips ou of Cusco. Staff very accommodating with change of plans. Absolutely loved room 105 which was an 8 bed dorm with individual pods for bunk beds with own huge locker built in. You could also pull the curtain in your bunk if you wanted to do some reading without disturbing others. Hot showers were amazing, really good pressure.
Really clean, homely hostel. Only drawback for our group was the steps up to and within the hostel. One member of our group suffered badly with altitude sickness and found the steps very challenging.
Pros:clean rooms, good showers, Cons: irritating security system (you had to find a member of staff to open the padlock to let you out if you wanted to go anywhere), average location
Gabriel, Maru and all the staff very helpful. Internet was very quick, great location, very clean. Atmosphere was very muted but I think this has more to do with time of year than the hostel itself. Highly recommended
Fantastic stay here, really clean, lovely chill out area in the basement, staff very approachable. Free Spanish lesson and walking tours a great addition. Wifi variable on third floor but everything else A1.
Staff were EXTREMELY helpful, they advised us really well on what to do with our short stay, they organised tours and transfer onward by overnight bus..everything! Downstairs shower had exposed wires which probably isn't very safe?! No wifi available in our room downstairs either. Overall highly recommended
Really enjoyed our stay, chilled out atmosphere, decent breakfast, staff very helpful. Approx 10 minute walk from the pier and some uphill at the end if you have heavy bags!
