Tinto Hostel

Top place to stay in Barichara. It is so nice here we stayed almost a week. The hostel is so relaxing it is hard to leave. The staff are extremely friendly and know everything about the town. It was my birthday here and the hostel was nice enough to give me a gift. I hope we are lucky enough to pass by so we can stay again! Thank you!

Happy Buddha Boutique Hostal

Fantastic location, top notch staff and very good looking. Happy Buddah is a very fancy place indeed. The whole place smells of perfume and alot of effort has gone into making the place look the part. The staff are very helpful and the bar staff are great for improving the atmosphere. A few problems though. It´s overpriced for a dorm, one of the most expensive we have ever stayed in. The room we stayed in was literally right on top of the bar so sleep was next to impossible. There is 1 shower

Marcopolo Inn

More like a hotel than a hostel, several stories high. Clean enough, useless bar staff that are hardly ever there. The front desk were not helpful and nearly ruined our trip to Tromador. They did not inform us about extra charges and we only just had enough money on us to pay for it.

Nice clean place and the only hostel in town. They do not offer breakfast and will try to overcharge you if you reserved online but nice rooms with cable TV.

Very charming place, more like a hotel than a hostel. The staff are english speaking and very friendly. The place is clean, has good computers and so many places to chill out like the TV room, hammocks and dining hall. They offer tours at competetive prices.

Booking this place was the best decision we made. We felt so welcome in South America. Sole the owner is so passionate about making your stay amazing, Juan is the coolest guy I have ever met and will help you with whatever you need in BA. Not only did we leave BA with good memories but we left having made friends here. The hostel is kept super clean by Yasmin who was like a mother figure! There are awesome parties every weekend on the roof and a really good vibe 24/7. This place made BA for us.

Marcopolo Inn Iguazu

A very nice hostel with a great vibe to it. Here you will meet many other English travellers and a bunch of extremely helpful staff. We stayed in an 8 bed dorm which was spotless and very comfortable. I have stayed in many many dorms and this has to be ranked No.1. They have a lively bar with reasonably priced drinks and a spacious garden area. Only problem with this place was the kitchen. It did not have a frying pan and had very little to help you cook with. It was also crawling with ants.

Residencial Uno

The lady on that worked on the desk was the only positive thing about this place, she answered all our questions. They have 4 big dogs that smell very bad, the whole hostel reeks of wet dog. We had to leave after one night due to my partner being allergic (they don´t tell you about the dogs). Our room was large but the sheets and pillows were not clean, the first thing I found on the pillow was a pubic hair. The entire wall was swarming with hundreds of little bugs. We slept in our silk liners..
