Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark

Good place to stay. It's not as personal and cozy as smaller hostels but they have a really good security system going on. It's next to Vondelpark and Leidsesplein (the so called entretainment area) so that's really good. The staff is super helpful. The only "bad" thing is there's no wifi in the rooms. But come on, not checking your friend's cat pictures on facebook for a while won't kill you.

Thank you for your response and rating! We are glad that our security system gave you a safe feeling. We have a few cozy spots in our hostel, one of them is the lounge in our bar. Have a seat with a wine/beer/coffee and watch some tv or use the free Wifi. It is also a good spot to meet fellow travelers. Great comment about Facebook! We also believe it is less social to have Wifi in the rooms. Therefore we have free Wifi in our common area's Kind Regards, Anna from Stayokay

Oops Design Hostel

Oops! Is a really good place to stay. Really close to the Luxemburg gardens and 15 min walk to Notre Dame. You also have a metro stop 50m away which means it's pretty easy to move around town. The keycard system makes it safe. And the rooms are clean and beds are made every morning. Breakfast is nothing out of this world but still is great to begin the day (coffee, juice, croissant, bread and jam). Joaquin and Gabriel where really helpful about showing how to get to places.

SHC has a really good system going on. You rent a room in an apartment basically. You get your own key so you know it's safe. You are 5 blocks away from the Colisseum and roman forum. Breakfast is available during the whole day. Only make sure to contact the staff in advance for your arrival as they are not always in the building. I would definitely go again.

Hotel Benvenuti

Hotel Benvenuti was a great place to stay in our trip to Florence. Linda, the receptionist, was extremely helpful and welcoming since the moment we got there providing us with maps, us schedules and suggesting places to visit. It's a ten minute walk to the bus station and the Duomo, but that's not a problem at all.
