I was surprised that the staff was really kin d. I read a lot of comments before making my booking at this hostel and some comments did mentions that the staff wasn't friendly. But I've got the opposite feeling. I enjoyed my time here. The staff was really helpful. Maybe I'm lucky ? I don't know. The kitchen was not that good but it's still OK.

Really clean hostel but it is still a bit noisy after 10:00pm. I booked a 6bed dorms but there was 7 bed and one hidden/private bedroom in the dorm. Totally it was 8 person that were staying in that room. But I think this is pretty common in Waikiki for other hostels as well. I don't know why but it was hard to connect with other people here. Everyone is so quiet. I'm missing the family feeling in this hostel.

I really recommend this hostel if you are visiting Maui! The staff is really fun and helpful. They take care of their customers. The atmosphere is nice and calm. You will get a "family"-feeling here and it is really easy to connect with other people. The bathroom and kitchen is clean. Somehow this hostel attracts nice people and almost everyone that are staying here are really friendly.

Nice place to stay at when visiting New York. Compare to other hostel the price is OK to be in New York. Good location and there are a lot of things to do at the hostel like gym, swimming pool, and much more. As a backpacker I didn't use these facilities.. What i was missing was a kitchen. The staff where OK. I would love if they where more helpful. I asked the best way to get to the airport from there and the guard said taxi or Google it. That was a kind of annoying answer.
