The only downside to this hostel was th lack of lockers (and the squat toilet if you're not used to that) but it more than made up for it in location and staff. Kathy and Tingtin are both lovely and can't do enough for you! Used their local knowledge to get discounts on anything and in the evening me and Kathy went swimming at Secret Beach and then rode her scooter into the mountains- definitely one of the best experiences in China, and I can't say enough about the staff at Godot.

This hostel had everything you needed and ticked all the boxes. Very professionally run with great staff, a friendly atmosphere and a lot of new things to try each night.

One of the best atmospheres in any hostel, good location and although there weren't many safety features (that I saw) didn't really feel it to be a problem. Well worth staying.

This was a great hostel, right by Neukölln station in the South. We were a group of 5 lads in a 8 bed mixed dorm, sharing with 3 other people from Hamburg. It's a young hostel in terms of guests, mostly backpackers under 25. Every room had a big locker in it so the security was excellent. The area that the hostel is in, Neukölln, is a nice enough part of town, with a supermarket on Karl Marx Strasse and the best kebabs outside of Turkey from the orange street-stall opposite McDonalds.

This hostel ticked every box, and was worth it for the price. It was not too far from the centre of town, about 15 minutes walk, 10 once you'd worked it out, and the rooms were fine with a good mix of guests. For just £8 a night, it was easily worth the price.
