Nice hostel, would def. recommend. However the room could get hot at times and the sliding door is not very convenient since other travelers would leave it open and the room would get even hotter. Staff was amazing, tours and transport overpriced, breakfast very good, location was great, and beds were comfy

Great hostel, we booked a canyonering tour and did not regret it! The staff is friendly and the wifi is decent. Room gets very hot though! The aircon was on, but it felt more like a fan.

One important tip: Do not book the private! It was so bloody hot we asked to switch to a dorm with aircon. Apart from that, the staff is very kind, the common area is social and nice, beers are cheap and there is a very nice mall (with arcade hall + cinema) nearby. Wifi is good and beds are comfy in the dorms. Would stay here again if I am in Cebu, but it is very unlikely that I will stay in Cebu city again ;). Thing to note: Cleanliness can def. be improved

24 hour bar is great, the food is nice, the wifi is ok, and the staff is amazing! I would stay here again, the trikes are a little overpriced outside of the hostel (deal with the owner probably)... Apart from that I would def. stay again and would recommend! Thing to note: the private room is a little basic.

These guys are absolute heroes. The staff goes 200% for making your stay unforgettable. They remember your name, pour drinks with love and make you feel at home. This gem is fully booked pretty quickly so I would not hesitate. Things to note: - A lot of people got sick during our stay. Could be a lot of things, but it was kind of a bummer to miss out on boat trips etc. Just be carefull with the water/food in El Nido. - Wifi is good for El Nido standards, but don't expect stable speedy wifi

Great hostel, superb location for Nacpan. We loved our stay and Vicky is a great owner. she reall cares for the area and its future tourism. A few things to note: - The wifi was limited to 1 GB per day for the entire hostel. We had a 4G sim, but the signal was almost non-existent.... No problem at all, but we work online and assumed there would be wifi since it was advertised on HW to have it. - A few battery powered lights in the toilets would not hurt. After 11pm theres no power/generator.

Ok hostel for a stop between flights. Nothing special about it though. The neigbhourhood is very safe and has a lot of nice restaurants and shops.

Very nice hostel! This place is much better then the pictures show. The location is great, and the interior design is outstanding. The only down side would be that the bunk beds are very unstable and wobbly.

Great Hostel with amazing atmoshpere. Would recommend it to anyone in Dalat. They do great tours at the hostel too. Only downside would be it is a little bit out of town, but nothing to far for a 10-15 minute walk.

Great hostel. Really enjoyed our stay here. Pro's: - Breakfast - Location - Staff - Atmosphere - Activities Con's: - Small blanket - Music too loud (not in the rooms, just hard to have a conversation after 7pm)

Great hostel with good atmosphere. They clean the rooms multiple times a day. It is a little big but definitely a good choice in hanoi. Also the staff is wonderful. They provide tons of extra's like a free walking tour and free beers!

This is how I would run a hostel. Perfect in size, clean and perfect atmosphere. Luke is definately the guy that brings it all together! Amazing staff and feels like home.

Bathroom was not cleaned upon arrival and during our stay, only some water was sprayed on the tiles, pretty disgusting. Toilet paper and nasty stuff was just laying all over the floor. Beds were clean though! Staff was friendly, and checkout time was very flexible. The hostel has a lot of potential, but it could use some better management.
Thank you so much for the input! We are always looking for ways we can improve our hostel. We will definitely look into this. Thank you again & safe travels!

Very nice place to get to know other travellers! It is basicly everything you want in a hostel, location is superb! Staff is amazing and very personal. The size of the hostel is big enough to meet people without it being too big. Also there are a lot of options for food and drinks around. Cons: No curtains, AC not on during the day

Very nice hostel. Great area, too bad they do not make an effort to bring together the travellers that are staying here

Basicly, if you have a teenage daughter and you worry as a parent, you send her here. Positive things: Breakfast Clean Convenient store close Negative things: 11pm Curfew (they do not tell you upon booking) Cat in the hostel (also not mentioned before booking, I am allergic) Made us switch rooms for no reason A LOT of rules! (like only 1 paper towel per person, just ridiculous) Matras was made of wood, could not sleep at all Blankets too small No shower after 1030pm No atmosphere at all

Great memories about this place. The vibe is just perfect. The basement is for parties without disturbing anyone sleeping. Highly recommended area.

Andrew is a true legend. The hostel is one of the better ones I have stayed at in the 8 months of travelling. The basement is fun, and the atmosphere was great during our stay!

It is guys like Gus, that make and break a hostel. He truly knows how to give a warm welcome and make you feel at home. The chill area could be a little warmer and bigger. But apart from that, there is really very little that could improve in this place. Very good hostel with good wifi and superb location. Will definately recommend!
Cheers for the shout bro! Safe travels! - Gus

The man that checked us in was absolutely welcoming and kind. However, the older lady that was working there was not so nice. She communicated pretty rude when we had a question about anything really. (also a guy late at night he was the security I think, was not amused because I had a cold and it bothered him). But to be honest we didn't really mind. 10am check out, basicly means get off our property! Hostel itself could use some renovations, but it has character Good things: Pudding, Hot tub!

Wifi is very good, facilities are awesome, staff is very good. Great thing about this place is that the communal area is a different building so you can have drink or not be bothered when others are loud and you are trying to get some rest. Wish it was slighly cheaper, I would definately consider staying longer if that was the case.
Happy to hear the wifi was good and that the facilities met your standards :-) thanks for the review and safe travels!

Very nice hostel. Incredible internet speed. But beware, I am allergic to cats, and there is a cat in the house. He doesn't come into the rooms, so no worries there. It is the perfect place to sort stuff out and get into the NZ vibe. Staff is amazing.

It said taxes were included in the price on my booking form. But for some reason they made up a new tax and called it local tax. I felt like the lady was not honest. The fire pit was nice, but apart from that I would not recommend going to this place. Not the cleanest, not the friendliest, and definately could use a better atmosphere.

Don't try to book any kind of tickets at a travel agency, if the staff knows about this they will be very rude to you. Blankets where dirty and smelly, they were obviously not washed. It is a cheap place, but really do not expect much of it. They charge you for the weirdest things and can be very hostile.

Nice place to meet people. Fan rooms could use better ventilation and are really humid. Sanitary could be cleaner. Apart from that you can really tell the owners try their best to give everyone an enjoyable stay.

Nice chill area. Matresses are a little bit hard. Apart from that you get a good deal on this hostel. There are more crowded hostels in the area, Thailand wow has a more mellow and toned down atmosphere.

Modern, extremely friendly staff, and overall great experience. The sanitary could be a little bit cleaner. Apart from that, I highly recommend this place.

Very well equiped hostel, you can really tell that the owner(s) want the guests the use everything they have (HQ sound system, chromecast, Xbox etc). Overall the hostel is very clean and modern. The staff were not as kind/interested as other hostels I have been in, and the atmosphere was lacking (probably due to the king) That being said, I (thought) I lost my wallet and the kind girls at the reception made no hesitation to immediatly check the CCTV footage for me! (I found it in the end).

Great place to relax after a long flight. Location is perfect. It is clean and well maintained, the staff are wonderfull. Only downside is that is misses some atmosphere, but for our purposes it was pefect for some relaxation and easy introduction into Bangkok.

The young staff was very friendly and really made our stay great. A big disappointment however was that we where not allowed to chill in the common area at night. Also the kitchen opens at 15:00, preparing an early lunch is not possible. Overall it was pretty good, I just wish they would do something about the atmosphere. Would recommend for the price though.

Great times in San Sebastian and Gaston was an awsome guy the entire time! I Highly recommend Surf backpackers, it is my second time being here and their hostel in Bilbao is even better. We just couldn't go away and kept on extending our stay

Nice Hostel, it is made to house loads of people and that is what you will get. Only big downside was that the window would not open. So sitting in a room with 8 guys was not the most pleasant experience. However, the hostel is as good as sound proof and the chill area is great. Nice indoor garden as well and the breakfast was pretty allright.

Security and locatian was good, but our stay was horrible! Weird atmosphere, feels like a spooky mental institution. Staff provided us with wrong information (breakfast was till 9 but he told us it was 0930) so we could not eat, while we did pay for it. We found a cocroach in the hallway, no toiletseats in the bathrooms. We booked a double bed but got 2 singles. The shower was not cleaned for weeks!! the dirt and fungus was everywhere. And the rooms had bad ventilation.. luckily stayed one night

Very chilled out hostel, in a great part of san sebastian. Staff was super friendly, we booked 2 extra nights. Atmosphere couldn't be better and got to meet a lot of cool poeple! Dani gave me some free surfing tips and they changed our sheets 3 times in 5 days! It is a little overpriced (wash and dry: 12 euro's), 40 euro's for a night on saturday booked directly through the hosteldesk... Also they made us switch rooms a few times, but it was so we could stay together.

Very clean and modern hostel! I loved my stay here with my girlfriend, the staff was super friendly and provided us a private room for the same price as a service. The owner works during the day and was the most polite and social guy I have ever met in a hostel. He gave us a lot of info and good tips on places to visit and where to party. I would definately recommend this hostel to anyone, the only thing I didn't like: The atmosphere, very few people chilling in the common area...
