Istanbul Hostel, Istanbul, Turkey

Great location! For the price, it has everything you need for a few days to explore Istanbul. Staff very helpful, especially the restaurant manager, re tours and places to see. Discount on food and drinks for hostel guests.

Fabrizzio's Petit, Barcelona, Spain
10.0
14th May 2014

Fabrizzio's was such a friendly and lovely place to stay. Definately a home away from home. One staff David even went out of his way to help us cook a Spanish tortilla one evening. The philosophy of the hostel: you are welcome, treat everyone as you want to be treated. Use the TV. Use their numerous computers. Cook in the very stylish kitchen. They will even wash your laundry (for a small fee). Sorry I couldn't stay longer.

Hostel Riad Mama Marrakech, Marrakech, Morocco
5.4
8th May 2014

The location of the hostel is good, although I suggest you read the hostel direction notes well before you arrive as there is no actual signage on the door. Granted, this hostel is very cheap, however the cleanliness is very below any standard, smelly and mouldy, and even some people reported sightings of insects and bugs in their bedroom. One girl even decided at midnight one evening that, after being bitten and unbearably itchy, she would check out to any other hostel! Try another hostel!

A Scalinatella, Amalfi, Italy
8.9
30th Jul 2013

This is a comfortable and affordable place to stay, easy 10 minute walk to the busy Amalfi town or short bus trip. There is a free swimming beach just down from the hostel as well as a small square with plenty of cafes and bars. The room did not have a safe however we did not have any issues (actually our balcony faced the police station). All bathrooms were clean and entire place was well run but the friendly owner Frederico who was happy to provide maps and information on what to do.
