feels more like a hotel than a hostel. not an ideal place to meet people or have fun, but is you just want a place to sleep it's nice and clean. also it's very well designed, very chic

nice hostel, not too much atmosphere though. the bigscreen-tv downstairs is pretty dominant, but i guess that only is a problem if you, like me, dislike tv.

Thanks for sharing your stay here at Hatters. You can find a very laid back and chilled atmosphere in the downstairs lounge throughout the day, which is what many guests appreciate before or after a big night out or while resting from exploring the city all day. If you are looking for some excitement and socializing, hopefully you can join us on one of our activities run by our amazing staff the next time you are here!

this hostel is a mix of very divergent things. the midlle floor is completely clean but the downstairs kitchen is dirty as something very dirty. the staff seems unengaged except for one black guy who was really nice and seemed to be doing all the work. the wifi was free but only barely working. the toilet ver nicely decorated, but with plastic seats. i don't know what to say I liked staying there but there was a lot that could be improved

a Nice clean hostel. well suited if you want to go hiking but there's not much in the way of atmosphere. honestly if you're travelling alone and want to meet people find somewhere else, but if you want to go hiking it's ideal.

It's a great hostel for meeting people, the terrace is a hugely social place, and when the wheather is nice you can great times there. the facilities are somewhat lack luster though. the wifi sucks and the breakfast ain't worth writing home about. all day tea and coffee are nice though. definitely a good stay.

I write home about our breakfast all the time, and they only live down the road... Come back and chill on the terrace again soon, weather's at a standstill!

an overall excellent hostel, everything is clean and nice. the staff charlie and abi are sweet people who answer questions with a smile. the breakfast is the best i've ever had at a hostel, hands down. the ktichen is large and spacious and they often serve free desert or food in the evenings. the room i stayed in was nice and the linen was changed every single day. beyond that the atmosphere there was really nice. not neccesarily all that party oriented but there was good conversation everyday.
