I ran tours in Prague last year, and Ive stayed in a few different hostels in Prague before, this is a good hostel, but I can almost definitely say that it is one of the best positioned hostels in Prague

So for this Hostel, the facilities are pretty average, but the atmosphere is fantastic! As a solo traveler I had an amazing time with the people I met, the staff are great, the bar is excellent with the star bar tender who can tell you about the culture of Slovakian drinking. The city itself is small and not so much to do, but this hostel is absolutely fun of life! For all its faults, this hostel definitely won my heart, as well as the hearts of who I met.
Ok so this is a difficult one for me, I can definitely say that this hostel is spotless loads of facilities etc. but for me as a solo traveller, I didn't meet anyone. This is your typical big chain hostel, which ends up being more like a hostel that you share a room with strangers. there is nothing wrong with the hostel itself, but it lacks the life and soul of the hostels I love. its too big for me, and the atmosphere is average at best.
This hostel is a lot of fun, period! on a quiet night, this hostel is a good party, and on a busy night... You never know whats going to happen! for example, each night there is a paid pub-crawl, one particular night nobody wanted to pay to go on the pub crawl, so the staff ran a free one, and we still got the free shots as we went around! This is a party hostel, through and through. end of story!
I stayed here for a week, and loved it, they have lots of activities through the week, many of which were run by Alvaro who was an excellent tour guide in Toledo, and the various free tours in the city, as well as a really cool alternative tour by Drew with the street art. Even when I was pickpoceted while out in the city (obviously not their fault) they helped to try and get it sorted. this is the chilled of the 2 sister hostels, but if you want to party its a 2 min walk around the corner and y
i stayed here 2 years ago, so returned again! the price has gone up a bit since i last stayed, but its still good. but the atmosphere is what really makes this place, really great hostel!
Put simply, Mosquito Hostel is one of the best hostels I've stayed in anywhere in the world. I had an amazing time here. I don't think I need to say much more than that!
Nothing amazing but a generally good and pleasant hostel
One of the best hostels I have stayed at, the staff are amazing, it's tidy, has a good bar with food, was so good I changed from staying 5 days to 11! Much love for this hostel.
The hostel was untidy, dark and dingy with many rooms having no windows and in the centre of the building. They said the sitcom was broken, but from what I realised, it had not worked for a long time. Some of the staff didn't speak English which mad it more frustrating. If you just want a bed for the night that's dirt cheap and close to the attractions, stay here but I'm sure there far nicer hostels in Shanghai.
Got to say, this hostel is ok, nothing fancy though. Only thing I would change is that it would be nice for each person to have a locker to store their stuff, at least the important stuff like passport etc. the are lockers downstairs next to the common area, but you have to pay for them, and it's not cheap. Just about every hostel I've been to has secure lockers of some sort that are included in the price. But overall, a nice stay
I was really disappointed with this hostel. The showers were dirty and had mold on the ceilings, the toilets were unclean and completely filled with graffiti, the kitchen had bits of old food all over the place but you could hardly call it a kitchen with what was in it, uncomfortable beds. The staff were very good but I was really disappointed with the state of the place, some TLC would help a lot, painting walls and a proper deep clean. I won't be staying again if it stays like this
Loved the arty chilled out themes, great bar as well. Nothing special, but very good hostel, would definitely stay again
Staff were excellent, the hostel was really good. Pros- fantastic staff, on sight bar, and the stuff you want to make your stay cheaper and easier. Cons- the location isn't the best, but it isn't the worse either. Half hour walk to the middle of town. 15 mins from HBF. but there is a S bahn juts around the corner so maybe I'm just being picky. It's a big hostel and as a solo traveller I didn't get to meet many people. Bug excellent choice. Would definitely stay again!
It was what I expected for the price. No air con in the room so very hot at night. Did have ceiling fans but they were quite loud. Hardly any power sockets in the room as well so had to sit in the common room to charge up. Basic hostel, but it's cheap!
Pros: really clean, can't fault it. Excellent staff, and close to the train station. Cons: being a solo traveller, I like to be able to mix with others and meet more people and the common room wasn't really anything but a place people hung out to get the wifi. They say you get wifi everywhere but to get it at my room I had to be in the corridor. And no kitchen so could get expensive Overall: lovely hostel, but if your a solo traveller, you won't really meet anyone else.
Fantastic place for a solo traveller like myself, couldn't really complain about anything, great place, great people, overall just great!
