The Lazy Hostel Vieques, Vieques, Puerto Rico
25th Jan 2014

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Inn. It was clean and comfortable. Its main shortcoming is its proximity to the restaurant/bar next door, which remains open and quite noisy late into the night. If you decide to stay here, don't forget your earplugs. Also, its overpriced for a place with tiny rooms and shared bathrooms.

Thanks for your stay. As for the pricing, I'd like to remind you that staying in the dorms is $25 per person per night, so two people in a dorm would cost $50, meaning that a private double is available for only $15 more, which is basically the price for privacy. In terms of national hostel pricing standards, our prices are right in line with, if not generally cheaper than, most.

Natural Pacific Suites, Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
13th Jul 2013

It isn't located right on the beach, and there's no swimming pool, but it is an excellent value just the same. You can do your own cooking in the kitchen, and relax in the jacuzzi tub after a long day hiking and body surfing at Manuel Antonio.
