Really helpful staff, a great common room to chill out in, a nice garden with loads of tables and a kitchen in case you want to cook for yourself - this place has it all. Not only that, it does so for a reasonable price, with a decent breakfast for only 2 euros as well. We only stayed here 2 nights but had a great time in Berlin and part of that enjoyment is certainly due to this place.
Unbelievably cheap considering how nice the rooms are and the facilities provided. There is a very nice shared kitchen and dining room, bathrooms are excellent, and the rooms themselves will make you think you're in an upmarket hotel. It's a clean, quiet and safe place which you will definitely appreciate when returning from Prague which is buzzing. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone except perhaps travelers looking to meet people - other than that it is amazing.
Whilst it's a very big hostel, this place still manages to be very welcoming. Staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful, there are all sorts of guides to local sights & restaurants, breakfast was huge (costs 3.90 euros) and the rooms themselves were very clean. The wifi was slightly inconsistent but this is just nit-picking, this place is pretty much faultless. The Naschmarkt is a great place to eat or pick up edible gifts for others and Vienna itself is a beautiful place.
Don't quite understand what all the hype was about for this place. Yes, it is incredibly cheap and is in a fantastic location, but other than that it is distinctly average. Rooms were fine but the beds weren't particularly comfy, the kitchen area was tiny and not particularly well-equipped, but one night the owner did cook food for us which was great. Overall it is a very cheap place in a great location, but other than that its not brilliant.
This hotel is cheap considering prices in Venice (which are crazy) and has a fantastic location, right in the middle of the island. Room was decent, a buffet breakfast was included but you have to pay for internet which was annoying. Staff were fine but not overwhelmingly helpful, overall it was a good place with a good price but nothing special. The city itself is stunning, recommend the Doge's Palace.
Whilst it isn't right in the centre of town, the location is decent and easily accessible by bus or tram. Helpful owner who recommended a delicious local restaurant, you can pay 2 euros for a small breakfast which is nice too. Our reservation was changed from a quadruple room to two doubles which was slightly annoying but the rooms themselves were very clean and the facilities were good. Reasonably priced for Northern Italy, we had a good stay here but it's not incredible.
Fantastic location, very comfortable beds, nice interior and helpful staff - this is a great place to stay in Avignon.
Stayed here for a weekend because it was cheap and right next to the Gare De Lyon (train station). It seemed clean and well-kept but unfortunately a couple of members of the group got bitten by bed-bugs. Staff were ok but unenthusiastic, had to pay for computer use and breakfast wasn't up to much. All in all it's not a bad place if you're looking to save money but nothing special either, can't say I'd recommend it.
