Q4 Hotel

New York, USA

Good location with quick access to Manhattan. Facilities were good and free wifi was fast. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful in general, with a few exceptions. Rooms were clean but somewhat small.

Nomads Fat Camel Hostel

Auckland, New Zealand

Good location, good staff and good value for money. Dorms were clean and simple and the apartment style layout is nice.

Brisbane City Backpackers

Great location close to the transit centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were fine although dirty but that was due more to the people already in the dorm more than the the lack of cleaning. Only stayed one night and would probably stay again. Wifi is poor. Didn't work at all most of the time although free.

Eva's Backpackers

Sydney, Australia

Great hostel!! The staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms, kitchen and bathrooms were kept spotless. The roof is a great place to chill out with some stunning views over Sydney city centre. Great location, quiet with a 10 second walk to a shop and less than 5 mins walk to Coles, Kings Cross station and the nightlife in the centre of Kings Cross. Also only 15 walk to the harbour and city centre. Highly recommended!!

The place was fairly dirty in general. I stayed in an eight bedroom dorm which was an absolute tip. There was no space anywhere to put my bag in the room. There was also only 6 lockers for 8 people so I never felt safe leaving my things in the room. Alot of long termers who aren't very friendly and treat the place like their own personal hotel. Wifi was poor and they would only type in the password. Wouldn't allow you to have it! Location was central in Kings Cross. Very loud and 'lively'!

Space Hotel

Melbourne, Australia

Rooms are very clean with individual lockers. Comfortable beds with good quality towels and linen provided. Weren't many backpackers from what I saw which meant that it was difficult to meet people. I found some staff members quite rude, however most were friendly and helpful. Wifi was poor and at $10 a day with a 500mb limit, it was very expensive.

The staff here were great. The guys on Reception were friendly and helpful! Depending on what the want the location is great. Three 24 hour food courts within a 5 minute walk and 5 minute walk to Lavender MRT meant getting around was easy. Was quiet when I stayed so was quiet (even with the curtain dividing wall between dorms!) and toilets and showers were clean. Good free wifi too. Highly reccommend!!

Fernloft KL @ Chinatown

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Friendly staff and clean, simple dorms. Toilet and shower areas were kept immaculate and wifi was good on the first floor (not so when you are on levels 2 and 3). A free shuttle to the centre of town runs right outside the door which made getting about easy. Close to central market also. Recommend highly.

Samui Hostel

Koh Samui, Thailand

Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, good wifi, location is a little far from busy parts of chaweng

Reggae hostel is a great place to stay. Staff were friendly, showers and toilets were always clean and the pod arrangement in the dorms gives that extra bit of privacy that alot of hostels don't offer. Location was perfect, located just off the main street where there are many bars, a five minute walk to the night food market and a fifteen minute walk to the mall. Good wifi and great sofa area to chill and watch a movie. Would thoroughly reccomend.
