Was not quite happy with reception at first as I waited quietly aside quite awhile for check-in when receptionist was talking with a guest, then another couple came in and they were served before me. Good free wifi even in room, good beds, quiet, but toilet doors can make some noises. We stayed in twin room which has a bunk bed, actually the room can fit 2 single beds, just need to remove the drawer, then it will be better. Wash basin is not in toilet but in bathroom that is not convenient.

for 10euros, maybe i should not complain too much. but for the bathrooms inside the room and ground floor, please put 'working' fans for ventilation, the smell was really bad especially after someones poo. a corner style kitchen has microwave for cooking only. room is very small and window faced inside the building and could not widely open, so the room was very warm even outside was cold. one pc for use free but wifi will be off after 11pm.

there was a half-naked man came into my room at around 4am and slept on an empty bed opposite to mine, i was awake because he kicked my bed, i watched how he moved around the room to see what he wanted, i could not sleep after that because i felt very insecured. when i checked out at 09:50, i passed my key to my room-mate as no staff there and quickly left this horrible place.

i slept well because the bed is not normal bunk bed, they are separated with each other, so my room-mate could not shake my bed when she was on and off her bed. but the window in room always closed itself, i don't know why. it is quite loud when the door closes (room, toilet, kitchen...) well located near main train station. only got fridge and microwave for cooking. wifi is good even in room but need to login every 3 hours. free pc and luggage storage.

It is cheap but will need 15-20mins walk from train and bus station with heavy backpack. wifi is weak in room. got few mosquito bites at night as the window does not have net screen and it was pretty hot. the dinning room is very hot like a green house at daytime. free breakfast with Portugal YHA standard was not bad. they have a pc for free use. staff are helpful. kitchen is small but you can still cook something. noisy and dirty when group stayed.

wooden floor made a lot of noise especially the people upstairs walking or do something on their bed where the bed hitting the floor, it was quite annoying and noisy. no kitchen. some noises from washroom. my room got 1 set of bunk and 1 double bed, and a couple slept on that double bed, it is little bit strange but still ok. price is very cheap though.

i used hostelworld app to search cheap bed and this one listed 5 euros for 1 night so i booked it, and then they told me they put a wrong price which should be 50 euros and not going to honour this booking but deposit can be refunded. the app will not show the price for the day before or after of the booking date, so i will not know what is the normal price actually. after this, i found their price was still 5 euros on list...

It is quite close to train and bus station and city centre too. price is cheap. I was staying in the 12-bed dorm, the 3 men near my bed were really not nice as i turned off the light at 11:30pm, they went to turn it on and started packing their luggages with lots of noise. wooden floors makes noise and shaked my bed. kitchen is fine but some stoves were not working. staff are nice. unisex toilets were strong smelly.

when i checked in the date was their day 1, so it was a lot of paint smell and dust, kitchen was not in use, but the room, bed, unisex toilet are big, clean, comfortable and new. however, the hostel is too big and was lack of signs, i got lost in the maze. luggage storage by renting a locker. from the 2nd day, kitchen in use but really a small room for big hostel, hope they can spare a room for dining. staff are nice. location is a bit far from bus station.

it is very very close to bus station, staff are nice, kitchen is a bit small but has everything. they clean the room everyday, make sure you put something on the bed so they will not clean your bed, otherwise, another guest may take the bed.

I booked the cheapest 8-bed dorm, no window, old and lack of power socket, when you get used to the smell, you will be fine. kitchen is not good, no microwave, some stoves were not working, oven door was broken, not enough pots and pans. unisex toilets were smelly, not really clean. but they offer 10 euros tour (was free before but still cheap) to gaint causeway which is a good thing.

Hostess is friendly, living room is big. Kitchen is too small when 3+ people inside. The wooden bunk bed made noise and shaked when another roommate (same bunk) move on his/her bed.

It is close to bus stop and not far from city centre, room is big and no bunk, and for that night I got whole room so I had good sleep without hearing any noise. Kitchen is fine, wifi connection is poor though (no connection in my room). The room cannot be locked so I was a bit worrying about the security. Price is high for budget backpacker.

got free computer to use, this is very good for me as i needed to do something with computer. the host and the Japanese helper Yuka were especially nice. room was good and clean, I had a good sleep here without party or street noise, however, the location is not quite near bus station.

my room was in the black door building, no locker or wifi in room, door lock was broken, has shower room, it was clean, water was hot and strong. the main bad thing is too close to train track, you can see the train pass next to your building from the window, and on the busy street with buses and tram pass by, you will still get quiet midnight. stayed 2 nights and their wifi was broken for 2 days. the good thing is very convenient to get to the bus station by walking 2 minutes and the free tour.

the location is a bit far from bus station, but it located at a quiet area though. the room is okay but lack of socket, 10-bed room has 2 sockets while 8-bed room got 1 plug only, this is very not enough, but it's still ok that i can borrow a powerboard from reception with deposit. room has poor or none reception of wifi.
Many thanks for your comments, As we are situated in an old building some of the rooms have less power sockets than others, this is a problem we are trying to rectify. The hostel has free wifi hotspots so therefore may not be available in all rooms but is available in all the common areas of the hostel. Should you return to Dublin we would be happy to look after you again. Kind regards, Pamela. Dublin International Hostel.
