In my room of 5 beds, almost all of the sheets had blood stains on them. The beds are REALLY uncomfortable because the metal on the base is sagging so badly. The wifi didn´t work and the bathroom had hair everywhere, even after the staff came in to clean it. I also saw no signs of a free breakfast.
Fantastic hostel. Only issue was that the entire floor of the shower area gets wet, so there´s nowhere to get dressed easily without running the risk of your clothes getting wet. Aside from that, everything was great.
Best hostel I´ve been to. Mamma´s dinners are amazing and the atmosphere is fantastic. Everyone should go and stay! My only issue was the showers - the only holder for the shower head is too low and there isn´t really anywhere that doesn´t get wet. But aside from that everything was perfect.
Nice hostel with a good social atmosphere. A bit on the dirty side, and the showers are frequently cold with poor pressure and broken shower-heads. Great staff.
This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and took the time to show guests the main sights of Barcelona on the map, as well as in a scrapbook of photographs so everyone knew what the attractions actually were. There are activities organised throughout the week and the staff are happy to phone up and book other activities on guests' behalf. The hostel was clean and perfectly located. Everyone should stay at this hostel!
No major complaints with regard to facilities, except that the shower was cold. The reception isn't staffed 24 hours, as I was up at 5am and the hostel was completely devoid of staff, and gave no indication of how to contact staff should the need arise. There is no restaurant, only a vending machine, and no swimming pool. It's not within walking distance of the airport. If you want a taxi, they'll book a friend to come for a flat fee of £20. There are probably better hostels near the airport.
Cold showers, dirty rooms and bathrooms, lazy staff. Pretty poor hostel.
Fantastic hostel. I couldn't fault the place. The free wine each night is a great way to meet people.
No atmosphere in this hostel. No cooking facilities. Also in a really dodgy neighbourhood. The girl on reception was nice but reception was barely staffed and the staff were usually nowhere to be found.
Fantastic hostel. The staff were lovely and keen to help out wherever possible with booking activities and providing advice.
Decent hostel. The only major problem was the manager who came in to the rooms unannounced every morning, an hour before check-out, to make sure that people were going to leave the hostel. Unnecessary and really rude.
Pretty basic showers and kitchen facilities, and also not that clean, but it was a very social hostel so it was great for meeting people.

I cannot fault this hostel. Friendly staff, free breakfast and dinner everyday, free beer every night, individual beds (not bunks). I cannot recommend this hostel enough.
Very clean, well maintained hostel. Absolutely no social atmosphere though and the hostel does nothing to try to facilitate it.
Good hostel with a nice bar to hang out in. However the cleaning staff start cleaning dorm rooms and showers at about 8am, so don't be surprised if the wake you up.
Loved this hostel. The owner was amazing friendly and went out of his way to make the stay enjoyable. I have no hesitation recommending this hostel and I will certainly stay again if I'm in Budapest.
Nice hostel, nice staff. No major complaints.
The guy at reception was really friendly but the bar staff were needlessly aggressive when a dispute over the bill arose. Good social hostel, with a nice rooftop bar for socialising.
Great location, friendly staff. They have a strange policy of only having one key per room which is to be left at reception by the last person out of the room. This means that if you roll in at 2am you have to bang on the dorm room until someone lets you in. In reality, it just means that people prop the doors open which equals no security.
Nice hostel. The owner was slightly overbearing but had a genuine concern for the guests and made sure they all had plans for each day. She was also keen to make sure that people struggling to find accommodation weren't turned away, so on my final night the loungeroom was full of guests sleeping on cots.
Nice hostel, right on the beach. Full of sand, but that's to be expected. Great place a weekend surf trip.
Lovely staff, friendly atmosphere. Great location right near the town centre. Definately return here.
Great hostel with great facilities. Friendly staff, especially the Welsh girl who took organised a pub trip and a comedy night for the guests.
This hostel was so dirty and run down that the building should be condemned and the whole place razed to the ground.
Fantastic location right on the royal mile. Staff were friendly and fostered a good atmosphere in the hostel.
Pretty poor hostel. They cram you in like sardines into the dorms and many of the staff are unapproachable. The location is fine, just near Kings Cross tube station.
