Good place if you just want a cheap bed for the night. Great showers and lockers but beds a bit rickety! Very basic breakfast. Kitchen is not that well equipt and they lock all the cups and most of the cutlery away after breakfast! Living room area had No soul and they insisted on keeping all the doors open even though it was cold so you had to wear a coat to sit in there! Staff were nice and helpful and convenient location. Like I say, was ok for a couple of night just don't expect a lot!

Hostal Los Salares

We booked a private room shared bathroom but when we arrived only a private bathroom room was available. They told us this so we assumed we'd only be charged for shared bathroom as we had made the booking days in advance. When we came to check out we were told we had to pay for private bathroom room. Had a bus to catch so we just paid to save the hassle. Some staff pretty unwcoming too. Comfy beds and good showers though, just not a great atmosphere.

Hotel Mitru

Nice place, clean, good showers and comfy beds and good breakfast but felt impersonal. Staff weren't too friendly and we ended up relying on the Tupiza tours staff who were all lovely. Also couldn't get into the book exchange as only one person had a key and they weren't in for days! It is nice but we felt it was a bit overpriced.

Comfy beds, great location, ok showers, good food. This is a party hostel however so don't stay here if you want an undisturbed 12 hours sleep!
