Hostel Malti

St. Julians, Malta
100%

I have been travelling around Europe for the better part of a year, and this has been one of the best hostels I have stayed at. The staff here are super helpful, and willing to out of their way to help you in any way, making you feel right at home. There is a well equipped kitchen, plenty of showers, and bathrooms are kept very clean. I could not recommended this hostel enough! Oh and it has a jacuzzi!

Flower Hostel Milan

This is the worst hostel I have ever stayed at. It was pathetic, upon arrival, we were put in a 8 bed dorm rather than the 4 bed we had booked. We were still charged the same despite this. The bed had a small thin blanket which may have been large enough for a toddler, but not an adult! The doors had no locks, no toilet paper in the bathrooms EVER! A very poor hostel that should be shut down.

This hostel was disgusting, the bathroomso were filthy, beds were very rickety and uncomfortable. Bedding smelt terrible and looked unclean. No locks on the doors. The common room was like stepping into an ashtray, people were smoking in the kitchen, it was foul. Do not stay here.

Retox Party Hostel

Budapest, Hungary

This hostel is crazy! If you want to party this is the right place! Unfortunately the staff are a bit dysfunctional and it is hard to get any help from them! It has a great atmosphere but it has poor facilities and is pretty filthy. I think I had cold showers about half the time. I am glad I stayed here, great atmosphere but that didn't make up for bad things.

Greg & Tom Party Hostel

Krakow, Poland

This hostel is anything but a party hostel. The hostel was mostly empty aside from about fifteen guys. The breakfasts and dinners did exist but the breakfast food was all gone after two or three people had it and all the dinners were deep fried food. However, the staff at the hostel were super nice and tried to help any way they could, really making you feel at home. The showers were really good and the dorm rooms were large, but the mattresses were very thin.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Every tourist knows winter isnt the best season for travelling, especially when you expect your hostels to be full. And it's a bit silly to expect any hostel to be full of attractive girls.Thats not what travelling is for. Complaining about the food when its for FREE is also silly. We never run out of food for breakfast and we keep refilling the plates when they are empty, just so its always fresh. And we dont think pizza can be deep fried, can it? Our advice: learn how to appreciate things.

The MadHouse Prague

Prague, Czech Republic
100%

The MadHouse hostel made my stay in Prague incredible! The hostel is run by absolutely great staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home and make sure you have a great time. The Madhouse dinners held everynight are really tasty, healthy and cheap, especially good when you haven't had a proper home cooked meal in months! Free pubcrawls and nightly activities are always heaps of fun and help you to meet new people. I cannot recommend this hostel enough! Love your work madhouse!

Clown and Bard

Some of the staff here were great, others were inattentive and rude. Facilities were fairly average, one shower for our entire floor. The hostel is located well out of the city centre, in a dodgy neighbourhood and the entire hostel stunk of cigarettes, and weed. You get what you pay for.

Really nice hostel, fantastic staff. I was really made to feel like home here, so I would really recommend anyone who is in Porto to stay here. The rooms could be a little more spacious, but they are still really well laid out with adequate storage.
