A little pricey, but very nice room and ensuite bathroom. Comfortable bed with nightstands and outlets on either side. Personable staff at front desk and in dining room. Great location. Would recommend for vacationers looking for a hotel experience rather than backpackers.

Great location, less than five minutes to King's Cross tube station. Easy to find. Staff was personable enough. Ensuite bathroom was a little musty and had huge clump of hair in shower drain. All worth it for location and quiet hallways.

Surprised at how nice the private ensuite room was. Friendly staff with good local recommendations. Busy lobby but very quiet in the hallways. Would stay here again for sure.

Great rooms-- large, with terrace, shower with curtain, refrigerator, and lots of table space. Great location just outside the Old City. Would definitely recommend!

Great location-- ten minute walk from Royal Palace, two minute walk from Khaosan Road, but still quiet, atmospheric and relaxing. Very nice staff and beautiful rooms. Great stay!

Suzy is an amazing host! Great location near train, food, shops, comfortable and clean rooms, quiet and safe despite being in a popular district. I definitely recommend this place.

Helpful staff, good food, can provide tuk tuks to major tourist sites. Bit of a party vibe, but still relatively quiet and relaxed.

More of a hotel than a hostel-- good location, although a bit noisy, great staff, nice breakfast.

Beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff, great location, very nice rooms, inexpensive motorbikes and bicycles for rent, and a delicious restaurant with free breakfast in the mornings. Only ten minutes' walk to the Old Town and a short bike ride to An Bang or Cua Dai Beach. The staff made this place extra special. Would recommend staying here to anyone!

Wonderful hostel! Very helpful staff. We were able to book convenient tours through the hostel and enjoyed their restaurant. Great location you can walk to scenic spots and downtown Guilin from. Would definitely recommend this hostel!
It is very kind of you to give us a so good comment. I hope you had a good time here with your boyfriend in such a busy day.

Directions from the subway stop are accurate, but take you through a sketchy area-- but, don't worry! Hostel is located in a very nice old building with friendly staff (all of whom speak great English), a kitchen and bar, travel tips/tours available, and great rooms (one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in). Location is actually very convenient and facilities are very nice. Would stay here again!
Thanks for your review. We are so happy that you had a nice stay here, and stayed here for the Chinese Spring Festival. wish you could come back here next time and stay here in summer, which will be another great experience for you. Best Regards Henry

Great hostel. Fun atmosphere, great ensuite rooms with comfortable bed and nice decor, good food and drinks served, many available tour offerings, and very friendly and helpful staff, all of whom speak great English. Nice place to meet people and good location, close to subway. Would definitely stay here again!

Great atmosphere, very helpful staff, restaurant with great food located inside as well as a popular bar below, many tour offerings and advice/trip planning from staff, and nice rooms. Only problem was our ensuite bathroom smelled for a couple days. Great location inside city wall, near many restaurants and bars, close to subway line. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff was not very helpful, though we speak English and Chinese-- gave us bare minimum answers to our questions with no extra advice. Location wasn't great-- very little to do, see or eat nearby. Room was clean and nice, but ensuite bathroom smelled a little and sink dripped constantly.

GREAT HOSTEL. Staff is incredibly helpful, competent and friendly-- the owner met us when we arrived in Fenghuang to get us to the hostel, supplied a map and gave us advice on what to see, and even secured bus tickets for us AND made sure that a representative from the transportation office came to fetch us. Ensuite room was comfortable and clean, and had a small balcony as well as an electric blanket! Would stay here again.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived late and someone was sent to fetch us from a nearby intersection. An English-speaking volunteer helped us to plan a great route through the Zhangjiajie National Forest, and supplied us with a map (for 5 yuan). Room was comfortable and clean. Great hostel!

We stayed on a very busy weekend-- National Day Holiday-- and our room was not available when we arrived, which was disappointing. Staff was unable to explain why this occurred though we speak Chinese and English. However, after one night we were moved into a very nice ensuite, good decor, comfortable bed. Location is a little out-of-the-way. Hostel has a nice attached bar with some meal offerings.

A bit hard to find, but very safe with helpful, friendly staff. Rooms are very small, but this is quite common for Hong Kong. Ours was clean and cozy.
