Good chilled environment. Certainly not a party scene but it's a short walk to the yellow if you're after that. Very close to 2 metro stops, the bus station, Termini station which makes getting around very easy. Be careful with your food, or it might get chucked. Good experience.

First of all, the breakfast. Best thing ever. No idea why people are complaining about the food, there is so much variety that everyone should be happy! The staff were friendly and helpful, they let me check in early as well. Bathrooms could do with an exhaust fan and a kitchen never good stay, but there's plenty of cheap good food and drink available at the hostel and elsewhere around town (you should discover Aperitivo!)

Rooms spacious and lockers too. very helpful, friendly and lively staff. Renovated school can have a sterile feel. If you go to the restaurant in Biassa, make sure you ask for the Menu Turistico or you could pay double the price! Microwave, fridge, boiler and utensils available for those wondering! Great base for exploring the Cinque Terre.

Excellent atmosphere in the bar area with a decent pasta drink deal. Breakfast is a toast and (sugar) cereal affair, but the tourist info was nice and helpful. Ruins can get crammed if people are messy, but that is dependent on who is in your room! Gym was a really nice inclusion. Kitchen can get crammed too, but at least there is one.

Location is practically unbeatable, reasonably easy in the wallet (though no breakfast included), staff super friendly and helpful. There's a nice bar to hang out and sample local products and cheap (good) wine. Very clean, all beds have sizable lockers, their own power sockets (AC/DC and USB) and lights. The 'kitchen' however left much to be desired. Consisted of a sink, microwave and kettle (and a very annoying sensor light!) No fridge. Great hostel on the whole though.

Great location, just a quick walk to almost anything of note. Also, for the price, the facilities are pretty great with a fridge, kitchenette, ensuite (w/ 2 showers) and lockers in the room! Security relied on people remembering to lock up and pull doors/gates shut, so could be improved there, but had no issues. Can't beat the atmosphere! Absolutely wonderful, felt like a huge family. Everyone knew everyone and we even celebrated someone's birthday with a big communal dinner in the courtyard.

Very homely hostel! Kevin and co are so welcoming, with hot drinks on arrival and free flowing information about their wonderful city. Beatles night was a lot of fun, not hugely extensive, but great for a taste and Kevin Snr is very passionate and it included free Cavern Club entry! Highly recommend.

First two rooms I was in had no water pressure fruit the shower. All the sinks stank. Rooms were perhaps a little small but there's nothing to do about that, that's just the size of the building. Breakfast simple but adequate, can't complain about free stuff! Excellent excellent location.
