This is the worst hostel I have stayed in. Reception a joke, way too busy. Check in at 2:30, waited in line until 4:00 to be told room not ready. Only stayed 2 nights but had to change beds. Bathrooms gross. Beds ok. lockers ok, but bring a 2 euro coin, or else you cannot use. Staff terrible and unhelpful when I needed help to get back to the UK immediately. Wifi only works downstairs, and that area is full of bags and people who are waiting to check in or out - at all times of the day. Bad.

We helped you ,we came with you to the client computer and helped you with your boarding pass, print it and made all the possible to help you, even if the reception was full. For us all our guest are important, but we cannot dedicate the whole morning just to one person.Lockers works with a 2€coins but if you don't have it, you can come to the front desk and we change it,or give a coin.Bathrooms are cleaned 3 times per day.Staff unhelpfull??Just read others reviews!

Great hostel. Great atmosphere, staff awesome! Big enough to be fun, small enough to meet most people staying there. Would go back.

Cold showers for three days! Reception icy but answered questions if you asked. No wifi in rooms or kitchen/ terrace area. Good location, ok beds and metal cages for storage, great atmosphere, champagne night and pasta night are winners.

Emerald Palace

When I arrived I was moved to their other hostel, which it seems us common according to the reviews. However, I was happy with the second hostel, probably better for me, as apparently the communal area was larger in this hostel than Palace. Beds good, but lockers too narrow for a 40lt backpack. Ok for your valuables though, but your pack needs to go under the bed. No wifi in rooms, need to sit in the hall. Showers nice and clean. Free toast with Nutella in the morning. Surrounding area ok.

Excellent value. Great location, the town of Salerno is lovely and cheap, not very many tourists! Great base to explore the amalfi coast and Capri. The hostel is good but basic. Breakfast great value. It is a 20 minutes walk from the station, but flat so ok. Felt very safe in the area as a solo female traveler. Local people are lovely.
