Oldtown Hostel Otter, Zurich, Switzerland

These rooms are way to small to have 6 people in them. With all the luggage and the temperature outside at 30 degrees, felt like we were packed in like sardines. Would have been much more comfortable as a 4 person room. The toilet in the room was conveinent, but the sink had no soap and the water barely worked. Free cereal/toast in the morning was nice as Zurich is so expensive. No atmosphere, not great for single travellers. Expensive stay for what you get, but thats Switzerland for you.

Really liked the rooms at this hostel, comfy beds, big lockers, strong wifi, your own light and outlet. But the hostel itself is small, you can barely move in the bathroom and there is only one shared between all the dorm rooms. No social atmosphere at all unless you happen to meet people in your room. Location is okay, not too far from everything. Overall, a pretty decent hostel, no major issues.

Old Town Hostel, Dubrovnik, Croatia

The best thing about this hostel is the staff! David at reception was friendly, really enjoyed talking to him about dubrovnik. However, although the hostel is located in a great spot in the old town, it is VERY noisy all night long. The rooms are all off an alley way that has constant people walking down it, i could barely sleep. Bathroom was clean but they could use a few more. Appreciated the free cereal in the morning as dubrovnik is EXPENSIVE! Overall, a good hostel, but could be better.

The Club downstairs is dead, but overall, it was clean, the staff were really nice, and the free breakfast is really good. Only a 5 min tram ride from central station

Showers weren't very good, very cramped bunkbeds, you dont get anything included except a bed. They dont offer any breakfast or food, and they close the whole common area at 10. Found it very difficult to meet people as the majority of the people staying here are local dutch people.
