You can't miss TS Bremen. Its good location, 4 tram stations away from the train station. and the receptionists are willing to book a cab for you to go to the airport for only 12 euros. People are friendly and helpful. We did a cooking event at TS' guest kitchen which is quite fun. i would strongly recommend it! (it is better if there is an elevator)
MEININGER is perfect. It is 10-minute walk to the metro station, which takes a further 3 to 4 stations to the city centre. However, everything else is perfect. Receptionists are helpful and even permit my friend paying a dormitory fee to live in a private room (because he booked a dormitory). It also offers a kitchen for guests. I like it!
It is good location. only 2-minute walk from the nearest metro station. and it is huge building. the receptionist seemed quite busy though. and the card machine did not read Chinese credit card which happened only once during our 6-day stay in Germany. My friend was thought of being on somebody's way and impolitely treated.
HSP is great. Receptionist is so helpful and kind, which left us a great impression. If I am allowed to be picky, it should be the ceiling of our room which is on top floor. It is inclined and difficult for a 1.90 meter guy. It is perfect though, I am willing to resettle there.
The hostel is 5 to 10 minutes walk from the main train station. The receptionist is very helpful and kind. One thing is that he is demanding of settlers. Only whispering is allowed during the day and silence should be kept after 10 pm. As travelers, we came back late, which caused some trouble. But generally it is good and I am willing to go there again.
The hostel is 2-minute walk to metro station and receptionists are friendly to offer advice on traveling and food. One thing is that the heating system does not work in our room. The receptionist failed to help us deal with it. The other is that the facility is not good enough. It is more like a B & B, rather than a hostel. Having said that, it is recommended in general.
