Super clean, great breakfast and good location near La Mariscal. The younger staff are fluent English speakers. A map and some info about the area would have been a nice touch.

We didn't receive a friendly welcome or any info on arrival, despite speaking Spanish. The room was very small, as was breakfast. I think for the price for the budget double room w shared bathroom ($30) I expected better. The location is out of town, and while very nice to wake up and see the view it is a $3 trip each way into town. They offer a free drop off service for 7.45am if you like to wake up at the crack of dawn. Definitely stayed at friendlier places, cheaper and with better rooms.

Great hostel, really cool staff. It's a bit out of town but a safe walk if your in a pair, taxis are cheap though. Shared bathrooms are clean, rooms a comfy. The kitchen is clean and well equipped, with free coffee!

Stayed in a double bed private w shared bathroom. I think it's good value, perfect for a stop over for bus or air connections. Note a taxi is $5 each way to the bus or airport. Breakfast is good and it's very clean.

We stayed in a private twin room with fan. The stay was good, the hostel isn't in the centre of the touristic area but we preferred that. There are good cheap places to eat and check out nearby. They can arrange tours, if that's your thing. We didn't do any. The room was basic but clean, bathrooms are impractical and very small though. Communal area is cool. I didn't like the sheet inspection at the end of the stay but I guess they have had problems in the past (?).
