Cinque Terre Holidays

Cinque Terre, Italy

The hostel actually consists of several different apartments with multiple rooms on the same street, so it can be an ok place for meeting others, but it really gave the small Italian town feel. The apartment we stayed in had a kitchen but it wasn't well equipped. It was only about a four minute walk to the water and train station, so it was in an excellent location. The staff is helpful, just be aware that they are only sometimes in the office for just a few hours a day.nn

Villa Banana

Dubrovnik, Croatia

This location is a guesthouse with dorm style beds, so the atmosphere is more relaxed. However, for being a guesthouse, the kitchen was very sparse. Also, the hosts don't speak English very well, but their daughter does, and they picked me up from the bus station for free, which is nice because it's quite a hike (maybe 20-25 minutes uphill) to get there.
