A very friendly youth hostel within walking distance of town centre...and easy to get to from airport on shuttle.
A most excellent small hostel ideal for those whom like the quiet. The hostel is within walking distance of the transit station (known as Roma Station) and nearby facilites including Coles, pubs, restaurants , cinema and sports arena. Also they have a pool, which is cool, especially in the current heat wave.
I arrived at the Hostel from the airport at 10 pm to find 3 other people trying to get in, there was no bell and no sight of the night porter that was to book us in. I even tried phoning but to no avail. Eventually some other guests arrived and let us in. The rooms where hot and there where no screens on the windows and the whole place could do with a refurb, some form of air conditioning i.e Also it needs to be made clearer that the hostel only caters for the 18 - 35 age group.
A good value budget hostel/hotel within walking distance of the main attractions of Hanoi. If arriving by air avoid the taxis and on leaving arrivals turn right and seek out the Transit shuttle buses. If you have hotel/hostel prebooked (recommended) show detail to driver and he will tell you cost. As a guide to be dropped off at Hanoi Hotel cost me 100,000 dong or just under $5.
A most pleasant little hotel, with friendly and professional staff. Also very covienent for visit to citadel. Enjoyed my stay very much.
A good location within inner moat, with friendly staff and pleasant surroundings. My only gripe was the intermittent WIFI.
As with larger hostels a bit impersonal for my liking, but near to excellent transport system. Food in restaurant also good value, and delivered very quickly, with live music every Friday.
You'll fall in love with George Town, it's historic heart and friendly people - a visit to Penang Hill is a must for some great views of the city... Only RM30. All in all a most excellent hostel.... as hostels go that is.....and within walking distance of ferry terminal to Butterworth.
A bit out of town, but excellent staff and near to a large Tesco.
Close to train station. Walking distance to some excellent eating places such as in Bukit Bintang All in all enjoyed stay.
Had a great week staying there, staff very helpful and welcoming - check out the great food hall just across the street.
