Earthers Hostel

We had the best week of our whole trip here. Supposed to stay for 2 nights but it became 8. The social life was incomparable to anywhere else, island boat cruises and pub crawls every day. The staff were so caring and generous with us and we soon felt like part of the family. Incredible bbqs, perfect location with stunning views. Not enough space on here to fully give this hostel credit. We are already counting down the months until we can return. Don't stay anywhere else on Hvar, best hostel.

Hostel Bol Brac

Worst hostel we have ever stayed in. Owner Tom was really flirtatious and creepy with us. Moved into another room as everybody seemed to be double booked. Tiny kitchen for everyone to share which was dirty and broken. The owner sat with the girls in hostel in the evening getting drunk and turning more inappropriate as he did, and blasted music next to my bed all night, even when I asked for it to be turned down. Scorpion found in shower. Tom admitted to stealing towel but wouldn't give it back!

Sweet & Cheap

Not so much a hostel, more an apartment. We used this as a stopover before using the ferry to Brac and Hvar. Really close to everything. The owner was lovely, left chocolates on our pillows and had free tea, coffee, biscuits and whatever food was in the fridge. Great beds, air con, shower and laundry services. Really nice kitchen too. Not at all a place to party but a really lovely place to rest, get clean and explore Split.

Amazing place! Party hostel with stuff organised every night, lots of drinking and going out but also ability to sit on the terrace or in the lounges on bean bags and chill. Great kitchen with a free food shelf, wifi and computers to use. Good showers and beds, with lockers under the bunks. Good location on a main road with tram stops etc really close. Definitely not the place to go if you want a good nights sleep. Staff really fun, cooked dinner for you for a small price each night.
