Lovely hostel! The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the hostel had everything I could need. The rooms themselves were awesome; big sturdy beds, only four to a room and ensuite bathroom and toilet. Little touches like shampoo and shower gel in the shower, and a hairdryer by the mirror were good. Very secure and clean. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Tokyo!

Really mixed feelings about my time at Aoi Garden Home, it's a nice enough place, but I had just done a week's volunteering at Elephant Nature Park and arrived at the hostel absolutely shattered, but when the staff heard where I'd come from their reception grew frosty and I was sat down and subjected to a lecture on how the park I'd just been to was run by a "conlady" and how foreigners didn't understand Thai traditions, and elephants needed to be hit etc. NOT what you want from a hostel!

My friend and I shared a twin bed room, which was amazing value for money - probably the cheapest nights' sleep we got in all of South East Asia - and it was a good hostel too! Our room was spacious, with mosquito nets and good, comfy beds, though HOT. The bathrooms were basic, but nothing we weren't used to or expecting. The staff are busy but helpful, and we were happy to rent bicycles for the day. Only complaint is the bar on the roof which is SO loud - don't expect to sleep before 1am...

Great hostel, with contemporary design and super-friendly staff. Good location and loved the cocktails (delicious and amazing prices). Really easy to meet people here, and the staff will help you out with planning your stay. We didn't book with them as it was a bit more expensive but they were still happy to advise us on making our own plans. Only problems were not having separate lights for the beds (I was on the lower bunk and it was too dark to see even with the main room light on).

Fantastic location and I loved the beds - you have your own little space with shelf, light and big locker. It's great if you need a convenient, clean and well-run place to stay and are happy to go out of the hostel to meet people and socialise!
