Its a party hostel, maybe a bit full on for some people, some nights they have free clubs tickets. Breakfast is very poor compared to other hostels in Barcelona. staff are not great - the guys running the bar are obnoxious

Disappointing I stayed here before and in a lot of ways it a great hostel but its gone down hill. Breakfast - is cheap and nasty, cereals = horrible, coffee = horrible, juice = not juice and horrible. Wifi on 2nd floor constantly not working - staff don't care - come on ? Pay extra for top sheet - come on ? Extra city tax not included in the TOTAL BILL - come on? You have to pay a euro extra to pay by bank or credit card - come on ? There are a lot cheaper and better hostels around

Villa Saint Exupery is very disappointing especially for 50 euros a night in a large dorm room. The website makes it look Amazing, but once you arrive its basically an old hotel with a very poor makeover. Some of the bar/cleaning staff look hung over, the cleanliness is very poor, air conditioning is terrible in the rooms, wifi is slow. On the plus side its a good location, the walking tour is good. There is one guy at reception (speaks chinese?) that is enthusiastic and helpful.
