Nice hostel, good location, needs more showers though. Staff are really nice.

Beds are clean, comfortable and warm and the showers have hot water. No wifi, but internet access is not good in Uyuni anyway.

We stayed in the six bed dorm room. Although our room and beds were fairly clean, the common areas are in need of some attention. The chair covers in the living room area needed a wash. We found the hostel dog asleep in these chairs a number of times. I think if hostels have dogs in these common areas it should be stated on their website. Dog food was also stored in the guest fridge in the common kitchen during our stay.

Although we are constantly working to keep the hostel neat, it's a challenge to "deep" clean the common areas every single day because guests are hanging out there. Photos and comments about our dog Cute-si are on several pages of our website. Some of our dog-loving guests invite her up to sit on the furniture, so we lost that battle years ago. Yes, we keep a small bag of her dry food in a drawer (labeled private) in the big shared refrigerator. It's never been reported as a problem before.

Really nice hostel. When we arrived we were upgraded to an apartment due to work being carried out on the premises. The owner, Heidi, was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen area is really well stocked and organised too. I would definitely recommend this hostel. We even saw two sloths in the trees outside our apartment.

Nice hostel situated on the beach front, good breakfast. The tour guides associated with the hostel were extremely good and met us from the bus stop at Cariari.

We stayed here for one night while to break up travelling. The hostel was nice but the flyers we had seen and the website oversell the place. There weren´t many people staying at the hostel, however there seemed to be a lot of beds and not many showers.

A short walk from the beach with a nice pool, away from the noise on the main street. Staff were friendly and helpful but we did not have a locker in our room (6 bed dorm). The doom room had an ensuite however the electrical wires in the shower head were exposed and a possible safety concern.

The Landing Hostel

Ometepe Island, Nicaragua
60%

Conveniently located next to the ferry but there are probably nicer villages to stay in on Isla de Ometepe. This hostel was not the best - some problems included the toilets and showers next to dorms that could be smelt in the dorm. The only working hand sink was located in the bar, which made it awkward for brushing teeth at night. During our stay, there was a neighbouring rooster crowing throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep. However, the hostel was safe at night.
