Everything felt just a bit dirty. Also had trouble with figuring out the lock on the gate so spent like 5 minutes trying to leave the place and then place the lock back on. So very secure, but also made it hard to leave/enter haha Would be a good choice for if you were going to do the hike, but unfortunately I was there in a thunderstorm as well, without much else to do :(

The views are beautiful as you are literally at the top of a mountain, but the shuttle bus makes it feel like you aren't too far away from the bustle of Hong Kong either. Very good choice if you want a more relaxing feel for your Hong Kong stay :)

A bit far, but 24 hour reception makes it a fine choice for if you've got a late (or delayed) flight. I liked that the bathrooms in the dorm were a bit set away from the beds so I didn't feel like I was *quite* the nuissance when showering early. The receptionist were also friendly and helpful, making my brief stay very nice.

A bit hard to find, but very close to the lake and some of the springs. Got a little noisy at night, but in the morning I realised the window onto the hall was still open so that probably had a bit of an impact...

Can't really fault the place on anything, besides maybe being a bit out of the way from a lot of the tourist sites. Buses are plentiful and cheap in Kaifeng, though, so it wasn't too hard. And the night market along the street was a definite plus.

No toilet paper in the bathroom, very dirty bathrooms that didn't seem to be cleaned within the 3 nights I spent there, and some miscommunications (my sheets were even removed early from my bed) means I wasn't particularly thrilled by my stay here. But it was pretty close to the metro and walking distance (if you like to walk) of some sights, so can't fault the location.
