J-Hoppers Hida Takayama Guesthouse, Hida Takayama, Japan
10.0
13th Jun 2015

Wonderful service from staff and great atmosphere all around. Nice to have toilets on every floor. Dorm beds were the best we have seen in over 18 months of travel in the world, a lot of thought put into them with space for luggage, individual light, locker by each bed and curtains around bunks. Additional lockers in hall if need to store valuables before or after check in. The best part though was a free Japanese meal cooked on the night we were there, it brought lots of people together

Guest House Bola-Bola, Kyoto, Japan

Great Japanese style guest house with great facilities. Great kitchen that was well equipped with free tea and coffee. Laundry machines and outdoor drying area undercover. Owner very helpful with maps and info on Kyoto. Bathrooms and showers very clean. Rooms large and secure. Bikes for rent. Close to JR station, bakeries, shops. Next to a local commuter train station so some noise but otherwise very quiet. aircond in rooms. Good common area.

This is a very good hostel with good staff and a great vibe. It is a bus ride to most of the sights of Recife, except the beach which is only one block away from the hostel. It is never-the-less very easy to catch the busses. Staff very helpful and they even organized a hostel block party through the streets of Olinda for Carnival.... Well done guys... Good breakfasts.

Lovely Hostel near the centre or Mendosa. The asado dinner and free empanada classes really are excellent. The Brazilian guitar players staying there certainly added to the evening atmosphere, yet they were firm and fair about dampening down the noise so that people could sleep. Staff can tell you how to get to wineries on local busses. Great for all ages!! Had a great time!

Casa Al Tronco is a very good hostel option in Sucre. It is a walk (up hill) from town centre, but has teriffic views and is extremely quiet. The owners are friendly and helpful in every respect. We strongly recommend this hostel. The bathrobe and slippers in the room were a nice touch.

Able to book in at 6am after night bus though room booked not available. Hostel noisy as no keys to front door so everyone had to knock on door to be let in through the night. Owner helpful. Common area not used so little atmosphere.no kitchen facilities.
