Very nice hostel. The grounds and the house are amazing. It's a bit sad that there's no alcohol allowed after 10pm. Kitchen is nice but it would be even better if things like salt, pepper and olive oil were provided; basics ingredients that not everybody carries in his/her backpack

Checked in late and left early the next day... staff was very prompt to answer me by email to arrange my late check-in. the hostel's great, wifi is good but the shower I had to use had no light and the debit was almost non-existant.

Cool hostel, location is perfect in my opinion, Mt Eden village offers everything from shops to restaurant and is far less busy than downtown Auckland. Staff's friendly. Showers and kitchen were very clean but the Wifi can be a pain. Had a lot of trouble logging-in and you only have reception near the front desk... Security and privacy wise I was a bit disappointed, found twice my bedroom door left opened after the room had been cleaned!

Makuto Hostel is THE place to stay at if you're in Granada. The hostel is really cool, they have an amazing patio and the staff is great! Had very good advices on where to go in Granada and the hiking tour in the Sierra Nevada was awesome. Would definetely stay there again if I'm back in Granada, it's the #1 hostel in town. Plus Freddy makes amazing mojitos...!

Cool place with a nice little bar. Kitchen is very small though. Staff is friendly, loved the free walking tour!

If you just need a place to sleep then it's ok... Altough the beds are quite small... But I would not recommend it for lonely travellers looking to meet people. The place has no soul, the staff isn't really nice and not very helpful (made us change room for no apparent reason). Not a good set-up to feel cozy or to meet new people, all I wanted to do was get out of there...

This hostel doesn't live up to its potential. Could be a lot better. Only few showers, tiny bathrooms, too many beds per room, no place to put your stuff. More over there is no real kitchen. Just a fridge and a microwave. It could be a lot better if they freshened up the place a little bit. Right now, not worth the price

Had a great time at MC thanks to the amazing staff there! Very friendly and helpful. The facilities are great, the only slight thing is that the main bar of the hostel is at their twin hostel: the M, 2 blocks away. But great bar, activities everynight, good live music. Great place for meeting other travellers! Definitely coming back during the summer for some more! Antoine
