This is a small but great hostel. The beds are huge, really comfortable and with massive lockers underneath. Loads of space in the room too. The restaurant downstairs serves amazing food.
This is definitely more of a hotel with some dorm rooms added on. We stayed in a 4-bed dorm and the beds were really uncomfortable and the room was very small. There was only one key for the room so when one of the guys from the dorm had gone out with the key, one of the staff members had to break into the room to let us in. Decent breakfast though.
Just spent one night here and it seemed like a decent hostel. Good wifi and breakfast. It was pretty noisy though so if you are after a good night's sleep then this might not be the place for you.
Amazing hostel for the price. Only complaint would be that the internet wasn't hugely reliable.
Great hostel in a perfect location. Beds are really comfortable and there was plenty of room given that we stayed in a 12-bed dorm. The lockers are huge, but we couldn't actually get them to lock as our padlocks were too small. Not much social space in the hostel so the atmosphere was a bit flat.
Really clean and modern hostel. Not sure it is worth the money though.
Only minor complaint would be that the internet isn't great. Other than that it's brilliant!
Amazing location for a hostel! However, we stayed in an 8 person dorm room and it was absolutely tiny. There was no where near enough room for eight people and their stuff. Fine for a short stay but if you are planning on staying for a while then it would probably get very annoying.
Perfectly located and they have a great breakfast.
Amazing hostel in a perfect location! The megabus directions on Hostelworld are out of date though.
The whole place is in a state of disrepair and it is extremely dirty. The kitchen is particularly awful; almost no crockery for you to actually eat off or drink from and you're only provided with plastic cutlery. However, atmosphere is good and there is plenty going on.
Of all the hostels I've ever stayed in this has the best dorm rooms I've seen. The hostel even has a pool! A little far from SoBe though.
This is a very small hostel in central DC. The kitchen is far too small which makes it almost impossible if you actually want to do any cooking. There aren't enough toilets in the building and the rooms are tiny and crammed with far too many beds. It's fine for a couple of nights but for any longer you might want to look for somewhere a bit more comfortable.
Nice, small hostel. Very clean with excellent staff. The only downside is that we didn't feel very safe on a night. We ended up having to let people into the hostel without really knowing who they were because they had forgotten the door code. Also, you are not given any details of how to contact a member of staff is there is a problem when they are off-site.
Really great hostel although felt a bit more like a hotel. Only downside is that the kitchen is quite small.
Really great hostel. Only problem was that we couldn't seem to change the air conditioning settings and the dorm was freezing!
Kitchen is a disgusting mess and rooms quite unclean too. The Internet is very slow which was quite annoying. However, fab location right in downtown Ottawa and really cool idea to turn an old jail into a hostel.
Really funky, unique hostel. Only downside was the small size of the dorms and the kitchen. Great waffle breakfast!
Stayed in a private room which was good value for money in the city. Good location near to subway station. Kitchen was clean but small. No atmosphere whatsoever.
