Hotel Belfort

Paris, France

Clean, secure, no frills hotel. Wifi worked so that's a plus. A little out of the central part of Paris, but right up the street from a metro station, and close to the Père Lachaise cemetery. One downside is they claim no food is allowed in your room. Staff friendly. Overall, I'd probably stay there again.

San Geremia Rooms

Venice, Italy

Very nice location, outside the heart of the tourist area but still bustling, and very close walk to the train station. Clean, a little pricey, but not bad for Venice. Staff helpful. I would stay there again. One downside is the curfew at 1am. They have a room to leave bags the day you checkout if your train isn't till later.

Hostel Beautiful 2

Rome, Italy

A block from the train station. The room was very hot. The location is relatively safe. The bathroom was private, but a bit cringe-worthy. It works, but nothing to brag about. A little pricey for below average accommodations.

Hotel Gerando

Paris, France

A fine basic hotel a couple block walk from the Sacre-Coeur a block from the 2 metro. The staff was flexible and friendly and the accommodations were clean. The view out the window was unspectacular (internal courtyard). The wifi was unreliable (worked occasionally). If you're looking for basic clean accommodations this works fine, and we could leave our bags the day we left till our train left at night, which was very helpful.
