Great location, walking-distance from Termini Train station. Big, clean rooms with safes and lockers. One thing, there's no kitchen so you can't cook, but they do have a restau/bar downstairs. Considering the bar is on the first floor, rooms are surprisingly quiet even with the music playing/people outside. I had trouble with my key card and was locked out several times, but staff were great and friendly.

Francesco is a fabulous host. The rooms are big and airy and look out onto the mountains. His place is a breath of fresh air...literally! Everything about this place is great. Everyone eats dinner togethet, extra €10/person, and is well worth it. He makes an amazing cake with chocolate sauce. There's a shuttle service to take you into town and pick you up at the end of the day. Great people and atmosphere!

Great hostel. Loved the atmosphere, big, spacious rooms with clean bathrooms. Loved the separate toilet and shower. Breakfast included is always a bonus. People working reception are INCREDIBLE. They take the time to learn your name and show you a map and exactly what to see! Very nice and helpful.

This was my central hub for my island hopping. A nice place to stay in Athens withban i credible view of the Acropolis. Some staff members seemed indifferent to guests' needs while others made sure everyone had everything they needed.

Jimmy's Hostel

Paros, Greece

The location is great. Book a shuttle from the port to the hostel BUT be prepared for a 15 minute walk as sometimes they forget to show up! There's a fully-stocked kitchen, beautiful rooftop patio, which is a great way to meet people, friendly hosts and very clean rooms with AC. Some rooms even have a fridge and stove. It's close to restaus. Go to a white restaurant called Kopalli (spelling?). Walk towards beach, turn right, past camping ground. Stuffed grilled squid. Will not disappoint.

Really enjoyed my stay. Everyone was friendly and social. Difficult to shower properly bc it was so small but it was very clean. Bed sheets and towels were changed regularly. Breakfast is not included but you can order food from their bar. Within walking distance of the beach and town.

The room was clean but VERY small. Especially if you have big bags. But, the location was EXCELLENT. Walking distance of lots of things. You can rent a locker for 1€ a day. No breakfast, no kitchen but there's a fridge. Great rooftop bar with AMAZING nighttime view of the Acropolis. Staff were ok, did nit go out of way for anything. Ask for everything. George led our free walking tour. Had a great time. Definitely recommend his tour!

I found some of the front desk people were EXTREMELY rude. After waiting a considerable time to check-in, it was demanded that I sign my papers QUICKLY, QUICKLY. I understand that people were waiting but I don't think that being rude and brushing people off is the answer. Other staff members were very kind and provided me with maps, recommendations Etc.. The atmosphere was lacking. Seemed more like a hotel and not an open, fun hostel. Other than that it was clean and close to the main square.

HI Europa Brugge

This hostel was clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was good; standard with fresh fruit. My small and few cons: there were only two outlets in a room of 6, not too bad since there were plugs in the lobby. Secondly there wasn't really a hostel atmosphere, which made it more difficult to meet people. I normally stay in hostels that have kitchens, but, although there was no kitchen, they allowed ouside food to be brought in. Overall a good, clean stay.

Antwerp Central Youth Hostel

Great hostel. Very clean, central and the staff was very helful. Breakfast was nice and surprisingly included fresh fruit. I would have preferred a hostel with a kitchen so that I could have cooked but it was still a great place. The Wifi really only worked in the cafeteria and the lobby. Not that big a problem, but I would prefer to browse and book trips in my room. While this place was very clean, it lacked a common area, which made it more difficult to meet people.

This is a great little family run hostel. Bol is fairly relaxed and this hostel is pretty chill and backpacker-friendly, easy to meet people if you are staying on the ground floor in the mixed dorms. It's a 10 min walk to old town, restaus and shops and 20 min walk to the famous beach. Has a small kitchen and clean

Can't beat the location and the staff is friendly and super helpful. Beds are clean. Washrooms weren't too bad but the shower floors weren't the best. Con: no kitchen. Would have been nice if there was a place to cook. Pro: in the heart of all the action and close to tons of restaus.

Hostel Manuela in Vela Luka

Korcula, Croatia
91%

The hostel is great. Big kitchen with everything you need. Comfy beds, clean bathrooms. Manuela is amazing. Very sweet and inviting. Although she only speaks a little English, if you can meet her halfway and enjoy playing charades, you will understand just fine! My only complaint was not having directions to the hostel and no one answered my emails. But, Vela Luka is small enough, so if you show someone the address they can point you in the right direction- a 2 minute walk from the ferry.

The girls who work here are what make this hostel. They are super friendly and helpful. They even got people together, a great ice-breaker, by serving dessert. Even though you're not in old town, it's just a quick bus ride away. The place is very clean and having access to a kitchen is great. I definitely recommend this hostel.

Old Town Hostel

This is a great hostel right in the heart of Old Town. The rooms are great, the beds are comfy and the staff are friendly and super helpful. There is, unfortunately, only one bathroom per floor and they are quite small. There is no air con but they do have plenty of fans. The hostel is in a super busy area BUT surprisingly quiet late at night. Great stay. Definitely recommend this hostel!

I had a great stay at ArtHole Hostel. The staff is amazing. Super friendly and helpful. There's lots of common space and it's very close to the heart of everything. The beds were comfy and clean and the breakfast was good! Only downside was that the bathrooms were a little small and the upper rooms were really hot. Other than that it was a great place to meet people.

The Garden Backpacker

Staff was friendly and helpful. They have great, cheap dinners prepared every night. The location was great, washrooms were clean, a little small, and the beds were comfy. The rooftop hammocks were great! The only problem I experienced was the temperature in the rooms. It got very hot at night, even with a fan on. Most rooms have windows, but the last room I stayed in was sticky and stuffy. Other than that, it was a great stay.

This was my secibd stay at HelloBCN. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The showers are a bit on the small side, it just means it's hard to dress in the stall. Standard breakfast. Common area is great to meet people. Thanks for a great stay!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Was a short walk from Las Ramblas and lots of restaurants. It was clean, the beds were comfy and had a great common space. The bracelets are genius. Every hostel needs to get this key system. Only cons: air con was finicky and breakfast could have run a bit later. I find 10:00am to be an early cut-off time.
