Good location about 5 min walk from old town gate. Friendly staff. Nicely situated with interior courtyard sometimes used as a wine bar but currently closed.
I very much enjoyed my time at House Sale. The owner Anton is an extremely gregarious guy with some interesting stories to tell. He is also very generous with his homemade wine and genuinely enjoys having people stay in his home. The location is just up the hill from the old town and it takes about 2min to walk there. Anton meets his guests at the bus and ferry. My only wish is that the rooms and washroom were cleaner, but hey, the price is right and Anton is worth meeting.
I stayed at their annex building that has been newly renovated and very tastefully appointed. Lots of character with stone walls and wood beams and spotlessly clean. Location is in the heart of the old city. The host Nikolina is extremely pleasant, organized and provided a map with bus info, site and restaurant suggestions. There is a small kitchen downstairs that can be used to prepare coffee and light meals. Villa Sigurata is a wonderful place.
