Sunflower Hotel Hoi An

Most backpackers will end up here off the bus as they seemed to be the only hotel/hostel that sent a minibus to pick up people when they arrived. The free breakfast is excellent, and there's a free pool table and plenty of poolside seats. Just outside there's heaps of places to eat and grab super cheap beer, and the walk down to the market isn't far - maybe ten minutes. Negatives - limited hot water and locker space. Its also quite characterless.

The Siem Reap Hostel

Everything excellent, no faults at all. A fantastic place to stay - possibly the best hostel I've stayed at. Great value food and beer prices, lovely pool/bar setup, balconies everywhere and very comfortable beds with ample lockable storage and power outlets. No complaints, needs no improvements.

Another great Nomads hostel. Central location, its got probably the best bathrooms in a New Zealand hostel and the lounge area is proper cozy. Dorms are a decent size and its always nice to have a balcony with a great view. Unless you like eating with a spoon you might want to bring your own cutlery though!

Everything you expect from a top notch group like Nomads. Brilliant location near to Te Papa, Cuba St, bars, the cable car etc. Solid enough bar next door where you get decent resident beer prices and the standard free food.

Nomads Fat Camel Hostel

The Camel is an excellent place to stay if you like to be around people. Perfect location in the city, great bar, free food every day, the staff are top grade and basically never miserable or unhelpful. Sure the place is a little bit grubby, but it more than makes up for it in every other aspect.
