Hostel Pisa Tower

Really nice stay - in an absolutely brilliant location, right next to the tower. What really made this place for us was the staff. The guy working at the hostel spent at least 40 minutes explaining the best places to go, and seeing as he had lived in Pisa his whole life directed us to literally the best authentic non touristy Italian resteraunt ever. Only downside would be the curfew and there are a lot of rules plastered all over ever wall. Other than that it was great.

Hostel 7 Santi

Easily best hostel of the trip! Although not that near the centre (it is walking distance though) I can fault nothing else with this hostel. The courtyard outside with a bar that sells REALLY cheap cocktails/beer/wine was amazing and it was so easy to meet people. Staff were brilliant, it was clean and they offered a 7 euro all you can eat dinner which was great value for money. Would definitely recommend!

Hostel Park

This place is a budget hostel which has a floor of hostels rooms. After six weeks of dorm rooms and bunk beds it was unbelievably nice to pay a bit extra for our own room. Great location, friendly/helpful staff. As it is a hotel you don't really meet anyone as you would in a hostel but it's great if you want to have a few days to relax.

Bled Hostel

We were in the 6 bed en suite rooms, which have a tiny bathroom and one window that faces a wall. Although the hostel is in a brilliant location, the room we were in was absolutely trashed by the people we were sharing with and the staff didn't say anything - not so great. Has a good kitchen so it was nice to cook.

Hostel Hutteldorf

The hostel is clean, has a great place to sit outside and has a supermarket super close. It reminds me more of a school trip/camping type of place - there were a couple of school groups while we were there and the location is a bit inconvenient. It's a good 15 minute walk from the metro and then another 20-30 minutes into the centre. We went out one night and it took us an hour to get back from where the clubs are - the metro runs all night on the weekend but wouldn't of been great in the week

The Groove

The staff at this hostel are absolutely unbelievable. Ive stayed in a lot of hostels and The Groove felt like you were staying over at a friends house rather than a hostel. Really relaxed atmosphere and the hostel itself is pretty small so it's easy to meet people. Only thing I would say would be not to stay here when it's hot - we were there in the 43 degree summer heat and the hostel has no air conditioning, it was an actual sauna in the rooms at night
