Hostel 170

London, England
74%

Hostel 170 is good for those travelling on a budget as it is inexpensive, especially when compared to other hostels in the area. The hostel was undergoing extensive reservations during our stay so there was construction dust, smells, noise etc. However our room was modern and comfortable (apart from the squeaky bunk beds) we had out own small ensuite with a shower (inc. hot water) and toilet (although there was no toilet brush and there was evidence the cleaner had not brushed the toilet).

Casa Micol

Florence, Italy

We enjoyed our stay here. Casa Micol is in a great spot, close to the city centre of Florence, transport, restaurants, caf├ęs etc. The hostel is run from a Hotel around the corner, this was no issue for us. The entry looks rather run down and had a bad odour, however our room was spotlesly clean and we slept well (even in the August heat) with the fan provided. The wifi also worked well. Would recomend this place to someone looking for affordable accomodation, not expecting the taj mahal!

Hostel Pisa

Pisa, Italy

Hotel Pisa embraces a very communal attitude, putting on a bbq for all guests the first night we stayed there. The room was large, however the fan did not work in our bedroom which made it quite hot. We fortunately had our own sleeping bags with us, otherwise we would have had to rent linen and towels. The reception is open 24h and staff buzz you into the building, very safe. The lockout is enforced, slighty inconvienient however they do offer luggage storage.

This hotel is a bit out of Milan, but close to a metro stop so an easy, quick commute in and out of the city. The rooms were clean and a fan was provided. The staff were nice and the reception opened 24hours.

Pella-Inn

Athens, Greece

Really funky place. Roof top bar over looking the acropolis is not something you will forget easily. Easy walk to flea markets, trains, restaurants and tourist attractions. Rooms are tid and airconditioned. Wifi and computers are FREE!! There were enough bathrooms to facilitate all customers. The walls were unfortunately fairly thin so there was some road noise from the busy streets, apart from this, its great! I would definitely stay here again!!

The owner of this property really goes above and beyond. And happily offers free transfers to and from the port regardless of what time! Lovely pool area and right on the black sand beach. Close to supermarkets, restaurants etc. The rooms are well airconditioned and comfortable!
