This is a solid, if expensive, hostel in San Francisco. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and it was nice to have a breakfast and free flow coffee. It was easy to grab a bus and the hostel does a lot of cool free tours and events (I went on a hike and a walking tour, and both were good). The hostel itself is in an OK area, but there are a lot of homeless folks that sleep on the street nearby. All in all, a solid choice!

This hostel was in a good location and had a good kitchen, common area and clean dorms. The staff were fantastic and answered all kinds of questions (and helped me plan a hike that was cheap). OTOH, the one bathroom per dorm situation was annoying (the toilet and shower were in the same room, so lots of waiting in the middle of the night). Also, and I don't know if this is Iceland in general, but my dorm had older folks (as in, grandparents). It wasn't ideal and there was lots of snoring.

I loved staying here. The rooms were big and clean, the common areas were also big and comfortable, and the staff was excellent! It's a great place to meet other travelers and just generally relax. I got a lot of great recommendations both from the staff and other travelers, and it was nice to have a basic breakfast option in the morning. Also...it's right next to the Edinburgh Castle, which you can't really complain about!

I loved this hostel! It's well-designed so that you can easily meet people. I never had issues finding an open shower, the kitchen is kept clean, the beds had soft linens and were extremely comfortable. The staff was great - I changed bookings a few times and there were no issues. They also were knowledgeable about the city (good info!) and the hostel has museum passes. The only (minor) problem was the door key system. It's loud in the middle of the night. And, there is a TENT!

This hostel is a lovely little guesthouse tucked away on the main street of Florence. It's very close to pretty much everything, but you can see the Duomo from the terrace off the kitchen. Marta was super helpful with things to do and see and where to go. The atmosphere was pretty quiet as there isn't *really* a common area. If that doesn't bother you, this is definitely a nice little place to stay with great access to F

I really enjoyed my stay here! Fabio is welcoming and helpful (I changed my booking a few times, no issues) and gives a lot of great advice about things to do (and not do) in Rome. He also is pretty strict about quiet time (which I loved) which makes it easy to sleep (as he says, party outside, sleep inside). This place is a small, yet welcoming hostel, and Fabio really goes out of his way to make his place traveler friendly (example, he changes money at the going rate. Awesome!). Stay here!

I only stayed here one night (a quick stop into KL) but the staff was really helpful. When I said I was only staying a few nights, the ladies at the front desk gave me a lot of helpful ideas for how to get the most out of my day. The facilities were excellent and clean and it was nice to have the common area downstairs. I met lots of people! This is a good choice!

This is a large, clean, and well-organized hostel located in the Sham Shui Po area of Hong Kong. It's 3-4 stops from major areas like TST and Central, but it's a great look at "real" Hong Kong. The free breakfasts were OK (I usually ate something else outside the hostel) and there really wasn't an atmosphere. However, the staff was great and helpful. Also, the dorms had TWO ensuite bathrooms (for 8 people) so things were fairly clean and no one waited too long. Overall, I'd recommend.

I loved my stay here. It was very easy to meet people and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They will help you book tours, busses, planes, etc. The breakfast is good, if simple (but tides you over for awhile) and there is free water, tea and coffee. The location is excellent and while there is no bar, they do give you a free drink coupon at a nearby bar. I'd stay here again!

This hostel was amazing! The reception staff are excellent as are the in-house tuk tuk drivers. The tours available through the hostel are reasonably priced and its just a great little chill hostel.Pub street is very close as is the night market and a few other little places. I'd come back here in a heartbeat!

This hostel was smaller than expected but that ended up being a good thing. It's small, cozy, clean and very easy to find. The staff was very polite and helpful. I had to check out early (schedule change) and though I didn't get my second night refunded (understandable) they were very apologetic and helpful about it. This is a good value hostel, close to the MTR and right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui.

I rated security low because I stayed for one night and got in late (12 am). I got into the room OK (they have a great system for that), but the next morning someone came into my room just when I was getting out of the shower (they had a key). I shut the door on that person and they didn't try to come back in, but when I told the front desk they didn't really have an explanation. I'm sure it was a key mix up, but its also a big deal when someone comes into your room and the desk is unconcerned.

I've stayed in a few hostels/guesthouses in HK, and so far, I like this one the best. The reception folks are always friendly and the facilities are clean. It's in a VERY good location in Tsim Sha Tsui (easy to get to Central, anywhere really) and there's a lot of stuff to eat nearby. Great value. I've stayed here a few times and will stay here again when I am in HK (once a month or so).

I didn't stay in this hostel because they had an elevator out in their building. However, I just want everyone to know how professional they were about handling this: I was contacted well in advance of my arrival and my reservation was transferred to a nearby hostel (same price, same rating on hostelworld.com, same room type). There were no issues and I was very happy with this service.. I hope to actually stay here some time!

We had such a great stay here! From the moment we booked the hostel staff was communicative and helpful, and this great service continued past check-out. This place is located in a great area, Tsim Sha Tsui near the Star Ferry in Kowloon. There are tons of restaurants, shops, and sights in the area, and it's VERY easy to get to Hong Kong island from this location. You cannot beat the value for money! I will stay here again.

This was a solid little hostel located right off line 4 in Beijing. It was easy to find and the staff was wonderful. I left my cell phone charger at home and they loaned me one, and also helped me get tickets (and transportation) to an acrobat show. The room about.s all face an outside corridor, which was fine for the time of year I was there, but could be an issue in the winter. You also have to go outside to go to the facilities or common room, so that's something to think

I loved staying here. Although I had a private room, I always had someone to talk to because the common area is a great place to meet people. The rooms remind me a little of summer camp, but everything is clean and works well. The bar has cheap beer and decent food. Although this is not right in the middle of the city, it is easily reachable by subway and the French Concession is within walking distance and/or the bus. This is a solid, chill hostel that I will definitely staying at again!
Thanks for your comment, we wish you have a better experience here when you visit us again. :-) Cheers!

I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend this place to anyone. The rooms were comfortable and clean and that staff was very helpful. Directions to get to the hostel were easy to follow and once I was there they had many maps, directions and books to use. There isn't a whole lot going on socially (at least when I was there), but people were friendly. I'll be staying in a K's House the next time I head to Japan.
