The building and rooms are pretty cool and different...got a warehouse vibe. Really good location. It's kinda pricey but it is more like staying at a hotel in some respects. Not much of a hostel vibe but that might be coz we hardly saw anyone there! Not busy when we stayed! Staff are nice but some don't spk great English. Prob wldnt recommend for single travellers as u won't really meet many other travellers...common areas are empty. Good for couples/groups tho. Wld go back!
Really great hostel! Staff are so nice and helpful and are either English or speak brilliant English! Location is perfect for walking into Town 10 mins, a mini mart next door, takes no time on a tuk tuk to Angkor Temples. Always Tuk Tuks outside waiting! They have free laptops u can use, pool table, pub downstairs, 100's DVDs and books to use, very helpful and nice Manager Smily! Would def recommend. Rating is only 88% due to security not being higher otherwise wld b almost 100%!
Feels like your out in the sticks a bit. Yes you can walk 5/10 mins to the sky train but it's very hard to get tuk tuk or taxi from the hostel or the hostel road! The hostel has NO atmosphere...do not choose it if you want to mix with other travellers! We saw near to none! The common areas downstairs and small with no air con and were empty! The room was basic but clean enough! Need to take your own plug!! They don't have them at reception. Some staff speak little English! Wld not go back!!
Amazing location! Very good for mixing and meeting other travellers! Private room was very nice, bathroom was bit dirty but bearable! Very good atmosphere. Lots of young travellers, a lot western. 18-30 mostly. Can easily walk EVERYWHERE! Staff weren't the greatest and they ran out of maps but the location sells it enough anyway! Would DEF go back!! Would recommend! Best hostel in Chiang Mai from what others said! Very safe for female travelling alone.
